The point is to slow the growth of the virus because it's too late to contain it. If the spread of the virus is slowed down, hospitals and clinics won't become overwhelmed with patients and will be able to keep more people alive.

Do you realize that the people that would be traveling for the tournament at this point are a small fraction of a percent of the people passing through the airports/motels of this country? Do you know how many people are traveling for spring break the next two weeks?

Thanks to the needless panic and mass hysteria that is being whipped up......there is likely to be total anarchy. Because of the extreme overreaction, tens....maybe hundreds of thousands of businesses are going to go under. Millions will lose their jobs. Many more millions will be ruined financially because they will have no income for several weeks when businesses are closed.

There will be a shortage of food and medicine. Medical facilities will be needlessly overrun by hysterical people, which will result in people who really NEED treatment to not get it.
