Sorry to clutter the board with more fishing talking , but headed up there this weekend as a last minute fill in for a guy who couldn't make it.. we have a guide for the fishing, but anybody got off-ice advice for the area?

I think Haybale Heights
Devils Lake is a town of only about 7000 people. Proz End of the Line in Devils Lake is kind of cool, the same guy bought the Cove which is located next to Woodland Resort on Creel Bay. The Ranch in Devils Lake has pretty good food.

You said ice............

Magic word for me..................SMH

We actually have about a 1/2 inch of that shite here in Dallas this morning. I'm not driving around.......or fishing on it. Period.

It'll be gone in a couple days.

Haven’t been up there in years. Stayed at woodland resort and spent a lot of time at proz Lakeside at the Cove. Think we might have ventured to another establishment and a casino. Caught a ton of jumbo perch.

Damn. I don’t know how I forgot about the casino. I haven’t been there in a while but last time I was it was kind of a dump. I’m guessing the casinos on the res in Iowa are similar.

That’s where we went ice fishing 90% of the time. Awesome fishing but really cold!! Take an extra bottle even if you don’t drink. :)
