Nah, it'll take a complete collapse from jNW's defense. If jNW gets to 65 they'll be fine.Hoosiers gonna end up winning this, aren't they?

Even if NW does hold on, I'm ok with it taking a few OTs to finally decide it.Nah, it'll take a complete collapse from jNW's defense. If jNW gets to 65 they'll be fine.
I severely overestimated jNW's offenseEven if NW does hold on, I'm ok with it taking a few OTs to finally decide it.
Don’t think they’ll get to 65.Nah, it'll take a complete collapse from jNW's defense. If jNW gets to 65 they'll be fine.
If Iowa takes care of business tomorrow, Sunday's game will be for 2nd place in the Big Ten.
Finding a way to stop the collapse and not crack on the pressure of that situation, is almost more impressive. That doesn’t happen often. Sometimes the other team will choke after nearing a come back. Maybe it happened here a little with the missed alley oopNW choked real hard, but ultimately held on.
Up 21 early in 2nd half, and needed a huge play by Buie to make the winning shot.
2 of the players they lost went to Duke and North Carolina, and those 2 teams suck this year compared to their history.Man Northwestern is no joke. It's amazing they're so good with the players they lost after last season.
I think so. I have no doubt Northwestern is even better with those two guys.2 of the players they lost went to Duke and North Carolina, and those 2 teams suck this year compared to their history.
Coincidence?
How'd you like to be Pete Nance if UNC misses the tournament?2 of the players they lost went to Duke and North Carolina, and those 2 teams suck this year compared to their history.

And NW goes. He'd be kicking himself for sure. How'd you like to be Pete Nance if UNC misses the tournament?
I would enjoy it.How'd you like to be Pete Nance if UNC misses the tournament?
Hope Fran takes some ideas away from this.It took IU coaches almost 3/4 of the game to figure out giving the ball to Jackson-Davis nearer the FF line to allow him to work before the double team arrived. IU will be a dangerous team post season, because Thompson will be fully back and X Johnson might also be back. Not impressed with Woodson as a game coach.

Does it though? Nu isn't winning out.Intrigued to see Purdue only -1 at Maryland. Seems like a bit of a sucker bet on Purdue. If they happen to lose tonight, the Big Ten race starts to get interesting.
Sure it does, if you lose tonight. Most consider a 1 game lead with a few weeks to go interesting. NW could very well win out (and they hold the tiebreaker). Indiana could win out. But if you win tonight, it's locked up. Big game for the Big Ten and Purdue's confidence.Does it though? Nu isn't winning out.
Exactly, have to feed it in to the high post ... not on the block. Much tougher to double up there and easier to pass out to a shooter for 3 when they do double team. Need Kris, Payton and others hitting 3s though. It took IU coaches almost 3/4 of the game to figure out giving the ball to Jackson-Davis nearer the FF line to allow him to work before the double team arrived. Big ten basketball shares, so Purdue is 2 wins and an nu loss from sharing. Tie breaker seeds BTT. I encourage you to look at schedules. Nu likely loses two more. Iu should lose 1 more. So even if Purdue loses two, I still think they win out right.Sure it does, if you lose tonight. Most consider a 1 game lead with a few weeks to go interesting. Mary Land has been great at home and lousy on the road, like many B1G teams. Another loss could bring PU back toward the pack, which I didn't expect a few games ago.Intrigued to see Purdue only -1 at Maryland. Seems like a bit of a sucker bet on Purdue. Didn't see the complete game, but officiating didn't seem awful in the 60-min replay. What exactly happened when Collins grabbed a player, and at what point in the game?Calls didn't cost Purdue the game. But Collins should be suspended
Seriously, win tonight and the team is 9-3 in Big Ten play since 1/1.I was wondering about Collins grabbing a player too. Anyone? And who would have imagined that we would be in the situation we are in right now after that 0-3 start?
I remember saying maybe we go on a 4 games win streak back then and getting laughed at. Rightfully so at the time. I don't make game predictions cause I'm a jinx.Seriously, win tonight and the team is 9-3 in Big Ten play since 1/1.
Purdue had a shot clock violation with 22 seconds on the shot clock that gave nu the ball. Gillis had a tentional on a hard foul where he touched the ball. Play that gave them the lead, illegal screen and audige went out of bounds and was first one to touch the ball. On a free throw, two guys reached across edey and hooked arms. Those where the glaring obvious ones imo. That shouldn't be missed.Didn't see the complete game, but officiating didn't seem awful in the 60-min replay. Completely unacceptable in my opinion. A coach has no business touching another player from an opposing team. He should be suspended.
I agree. BIG likes Collins and the NW story.Completely unacceptable in my opinion. A coach has no business touching another player from an opposing team. He should be suspended.
