Wrestling is horrible at promoting the sport. We are now forced to sit through 2+ hours wondering when Brooks-Taylor and Dake-Nolf will be. I thought about inviting some friends over that are into MMA with "hey you gotta see this kid Spencer Lee" but thought better off it knowing there was no way they would sit through Greco and Women's free. They need to separate the 3 sports so we can watch what we want to watch.

Still no weight going to a third final match yet.

As of a few weeks ago, Sadulaev had been deemed ineligible for the Olympic qualifier for neutral athletes. Not sure if this ban extends to the names or not

For all his talk about faith, I don't think that I have ever seen an interview with Snyder in which he didn't give off a haughty, arrogant vibe. Does anyone else get that feeling?

Unless they find some loophole, I believe he is out. Russia is banned, but their athletes can still qualify as independent neutral athletes. But I guess Sadulaev has been openly supportive of Russia's war in Ukraine to be considered independent enough of the reason for the ban by the IOC.

You're right, they can use it however they want, just as I have the right to comment that talking about religion constantly after a sporting even is weird and cult like. Many of you seem to not like that or recognize the hypocrisy in your position. You want to exclaim that people have the right to talk about religion publicly, but you don't give that same respect for the freedom of speech to people who criticize the public proselytizing.
