Don't underestimate how much some other teams' fans hate us. They use stuff like this to denigrate the team, our coaches, and our fans. We'll see how this plays out, but I suspect that someone is messing with us again. Personally, I don't care if one of our recruits is bi, but some of our more conservative fans might, and that provides leverage for Hawk haters to sow discord.
As far as the time needed to do this, it's not as long as you might think. Hatred provides abundant motivation.

Well, Last time I heard about this a university didn't rape anyone. I heard about Jerry Sandusky in an incident witnessed by Mike McQueary and ignored by certain university officials but no other on campus incidents from what I've heard.
But last I heard, they're not recruiting and wrestlers who are accused of sexual assault, so you might want to consider that.

I feel that bringing the Ferrari’s on is the WORST decision TnT could make. One that could in the end destroy our program. You can love Iowa and still be upset at the direction that it is going. Being a knowledgeable fan doesn’t mean getting on your knees and praying Tom chooses you for the final “shot”
None of it is wrong. Bringing them in is a HUGE risk. No way around that. Just have to wait and see I guess.
If I was a fan of a college wrestling team and they did something that i deemed SO HORRIBLE I would.... A) Stop watching and supporting that team until the situation cleared or i felt comfortable supporting them again..... or B) I would go on that team's very own message board and Bitch and complain about EVERYTHING that i could about the program to show my displeasure with the direction of the team ....or C) i would trust the coaches and support them but keep a cautious eye to make sure things were going in a positive manner and reserve my judgement for AFTER the kids actually committed or wrestled for the team. I would say selecting A or C would be mature and kind of responsible But choice " B" is not a good choice but seems to be the path that some of the PSU trolls would want us to believe is best for everyone. If they truly hate this program so badly... wouldnt it be nice if they stayed OFF this board and stayed in their own BWI trash bin????

Exactly. I can still love Iowa and root for us to win every match, every dual, every NCAA title and still be disappointed in what’s going on because I actually want that winning to occur
