started with repcharge from yesterday. Parrish for usa up now
She started well but looked like she got tired after the first two minutes. Was pushed around the mat from the start.
3-0 for Spencer at the break. Zhou clearly wants minimal exchanges.
And there's the gameplan. - don't expect anyone other than Higuchi to actually try and score points on Spencer.

Can’t recall a match I’ve ever seen Spencer wrestle where he was active and could only convert on one shot. Zou’s defense was tough.

Really cheap push outs at the end, they could've and should've been grounded. China took 1 shot the entire match, ref did everything he could to steal that.
So happy he won, but there's still so much subjectivity involved.

way to go Spencer!!! zou should have been put on the clock again and should have been called for caution also. we knew that would be a tough match up its go time. LFG
Not until under 1:30 by my watch. Nerve wracking but smart wrestling by Spencer!
Survive and advance! Seems like zou is a tough matchup for Spencer, so close to breaking it open with the lace but was OB. Solid win!
Great AM for USA with Brooks also scoring a big win. Could be a big few days for USA freestyle wrestling.
Brooks is just a machine. He never wrestles anyones match but his (style). Controls pace. Never gets tired. Never gets out of position. Impressive although no doubt DT much more fun to watch at 86kg. Seems like we may be headed to the epic Brooks Yazdani final which will be epic.
