Pemsl taking the last shot???

The previous shot was not deeper. It was straight on in rythm not on a dead run while being triple teamed and it was still a very very low percentage shot. The kind you make 1 out of 10 at best. The difference is it had to be taken because of time and score.

What your suggesting is ridiculous, lacks any sort of grasp of percentages and is just based on emotions and hindsight.

I have got to agree with Rocknroll. Only chance JoBo had to get the shot off was a running hook shot . It was NOTHING near like the shot he had just hit.

Yes. Time and score, down two possessions, vs down two points. Its self explanatory.

Bottom line, Pemsls shot had a much better statistical probability of going in than wgat Jordan would have been able to get off. Period.

Really? I think if he would have taken that shot and had it blocked or missed badly, when Pemsl was all alone at the FT line, I think there would have been PLENTY of people complaining that he didn't pass to the wide open man.

I was at the game and thought it was a fun game to be at. But wow can we bitch on here. 3.8 seconds left and the whole forum knows who should have shot it and been in the game. Some say 2 feet behind the line some say 2 feet in front of it. Cook was 15 for 15 on field goals.......odds are the shots were 3 tip ins and 7 dunks out of all those. 1 for 5 at the line for the game or whatever he was. Fran can't come up with anything better than that???? Wow the complaining is amazing. I felt the play worked out to a T with the exception of the ball going in the hole. Pemsl has great field goal % and from what I saw it wasn't a jump shot. Looked to me it was a set shot. This young man is getting a full ride to play ball and has done a good job imo. Just didn't make this shot. 10 times better than last year at the end of the games.

Thats fine, but what I said is a fact about the statistical probability of Pemsls shot going in being higher, what your saying is a feeling based on emotions.
