As a lifelong Hawk fan I couldn’t be more proud of a bunch of girls that did everything the right way. Never quite got the final prize, but left us fans a hell
Of a lot of awesome memories. Time to turn the page to our future. Great recruiting is going to keep us strong and we got a great nucleus coming back. We got the best staff in the nation. Great job team and Thanks again for the fun ride!!!!!

What this team has achieved is almost unbelievable. Congratulations. Very proud of everybody. To beat LDU and then UConn and then play for the national championship is the height of Iowa Women's basketball ever!
