The missed bunnies killed us and then OG fouling too that was a 5 point swing.
Well she is very good at coaching the game of Basketball, so there's that.Quite impressive she landed a head coaching job. She sounds very uneducated.
And she doesn't know what a ball fake is.Game on the line and Ogrady tries to shoot over Andre the Giant ? Why
The final stretch of both halves were a disaster. That was a bad last couple minutes on different levels.
They always want the South or East coast team to winOne of them is literally celebrating with the team lol.
I think it's because she knows basketball.Quite impressive she landed a head coaching job. She sounds very uneducated.
Let’s be honest, it’s probably what makes her successful in this sport. Listen to her players.Quite impressive she landed a head coaching job. She sounds very uneducated.
That’s fair. They played a lot of minutes. She definitely wasn't working very hard for her shot in the 4th qtr.
I do wonder if there was some fatigue for several of the starters. Martin for sure was gassed.
Slow non guards getting ball stolen from beind behind hurt really badThat 20-7 start to the game really stings now.
Start out up 12/13/14 and lose by 12. 24/26-pt swing.
37-0 bench points deficit + turnovers +SC points off those turnovers + BS fouls for boxing out + another ton of missed layups = disappointing loss on the biggest stage.
Men’s….right?🤪Looking at the recruiting rankings, every one of their bench players would start for Iowa.
Not totally but the game has to evolve quickly. If it goes back to who has the tallest girls that can rebound the the most missed layups, then yes.So does women’s basketball become irrelevant again now that Clark is done. Half empty arenas, not much TV time?
While it is yet to be seen if it stays at this rarified high, I think Clark’s legacy is that there is a new higher baseline of interest in the women’s gameSo does women’s basketball become irrelevant again now that Clark is done. Half empty arenas, not much TV time?
Iowa staff ? Ya right. Best womens player in history who went up against every elite team by herself with role players. Bluder git her no help. This staff will a national championship in the near future. Book it!
Pretty sure a degree from Virginia.Quite impressive she landed a head coaching job. She sounds very uneducated.
It will if there isn't more parity. If UCONN and South Carolina just stock pile the top talent to the degree that others can't compete then I think there could be a decline in interest. Also if there isn't a guard game. Watching bigs dominate isn't a lot of fun. There are some interesting players that could drive the sport forward. So does women’s basketball become irrelevant again now that Clark is done. Half empty arenas, not much TV time?
Hard to say. She has the most talent.Well she is very good at coaching the game of Basketball, so there's that.

People dont like watching g stacked teams as muchIt will if there isn't more parity. So you're saying she's a good recruiter of women of colorHard to say. She has the most talent.
Exactly. We lost the game but CC and Iowa have won the war imo. Just look at how many players, coaches, and legends within the game have done everything they could to discredit Clark and Iowa and that’s your proof right there. Not to mention all the excitement and joy they’ve brought to countless fans. Caitlin could have won 2 or 3 NCs and it still wouldn’t be enough for some people.SC was too deep and too tall.
What Caitlin and the team have done was unbelievable and will be remembered throughout history. Love this team and I'll never forget what they've accomplished.
I don't think so.I feel so bummed right now. Iowa totally could have won that game.
They could have.I feel so bummed right now. Iowa totally could have won that game.
Felt like they just ran out of gas at the end.Iowa was down only 5 or 6, with the ball, late in the game. Martin drove into the lane and got called for a travel. I think Iowa may have only score one basket after that play.
Agreed. They had very little margin for error. Iowa threaded the needle last year and in the process exposed South Carolina's flaws. Honestly that win may have hurt their chances this time around because South Carolina saw what they needed to fixI don't think so.
Clark has been getting hammered by many lately. I’d like to see her take the 10 mil and play the 3 on 3 then say eff you to the WNBA and all their carpet munching players and play overseas. Let the WNBA viewership suck some more.Exactly. We lost the game but CC and Iowa have won the war imo. Down the road the average fan will remember the impact CC and Iowa had on the game and the teams they lost to in the NC will be an after thought, at least they will be for me. And I don’t mean it as a slight at LSU or SC. Sold out arenas and viewership says it all in this case though. Unprecedented is what Clark has done for women’s basketball.
