Just like ours…currently a lot of holes. Looking forward to the holiday tourneys; hopefully most will come out to play by then.

Humphreys beats a guy named Tony Negron 5-4 for PSU at 157. A late TD for Negron was reversed after video review. Intermission

So many reviews (3). Only the last was a Lehigh challenge. Those breaks are an advantage for the heavily muscled vs the lithe.

without 2 of their best wrestlers. doesn’t mean much.
I disagree. It shows their depth is lacking big time. There are more holes in that lineup than Swiss cheese right now. Ever their 149 looks undersized. If one of their big four drop off or get upset in March, they might struggle to podium. If I were a Penn st fan I’d start calling this a rebuilding year.

wishful thinking. you could say the exact same thing about he hawks at 125, 149, 197, etc... very few teams have "depth" at all 10 weights.

A bit of a difference here. Their 125 wasn’t planning on wrestling this year until Cale rang him up, their 149 is small and looks like he struggles getting to his offense. I don’t even know who their 157 is and their 165 is a work in progress as well. And I’ve mentioned nothing about their big four guy, should one of them get injured and miss March. That’s a lot of holes my guy!

Iowa’s being cautious and sitting guys out. That’s why our lineup appears less than right now. PSU doesn’t have anyone they can plug in there and get solid points out of come March. That’s the difference. Iowa’s guys are coming. Happy valley doesn’t have the guys at at least three maybe four weights. Looks dim in happy valley right now.

You sound like a none Iowa fan today. Let’s go there. Iowa has yabarra at 25 to back up lee. Scheiver at 33. Henson at 41. At 65 Kennedy. At 74 Nelson behind kem. At 84 we have Assad Nelson and Wilson. At 97 glazier. Match it up!! What does psu have to back their studs? What are we 5?

Or maybe it shows that they’re not willing to pull shirts or risk injuries for a match that doesn’t matter. Let’s see how things look after the holidays. Really all I care about is getting our hammers back in the lineup.

Just an fyi. Byers is a radio announcer not video. That's why he never shuts up. He is very popular on radio in PA.
