if they called some fouls and put them on the bench, where they belong, we'd have plenty of rebounds
theyd rather walk up to the pu player and warn them they might call a foul on them next time
Currently we have outscored you by 53 this season heads up, so what does they make you? We are fighting for our NCAA tournament lives...When we play hard we are very good.
I do not see one aspect of the game he is doing well. He has lost his focus on basketball. He is so freaking soft makes really bad decisions with the ball. If he does not get with the program the year will end very badly IMO.
Purdue is giving max effort, Iowa is going through the motions.
I'd say the officials have accounted for maybe a quarter of Purdues lead.
They are getting away with more blatant fouls than Michigan state at home.
Iowas lack of effort and awareness on the glass and defense accounts for the rest.
Same place they got beat last time. Except Purdue was draining threes.....

rebounding is about effort, Iowa isn't giving any for some reason on senior night against a team that kicked their ass last time. pa-****ing-thetic
Games like this are what concern me for the tournament. Plenty of 10-12 seeds that are better than Purdue.

He rebounds well. He needs to play tougher though and not let a missed call or missed basket effect his defensive effort.
If Iowa would follow some of their bricks they woulda had a handful more offensive boards. Worst effort out of them I’ve seen all year everything considered.
The good thing is Wisconsin sucks and they're still way better than Purdue.
Beating Purdue is totally dependent on stopping them from offensive rebounding.
They might score 10 points in a half if you don't give them offensive rebounds.

but the officials will almost always reward the team that’s hustling and playing hard. Iowa’s been going through the motions for the most part.
shooting percentage and rebounding are the difference. We are getting dominated. I happen to think Purdue is just a tough matchup for Iowa.

I don't disagree, except for the blatant fouls. If the refs don't allow you to foul at will it is probably a pretty close game.
