Without Iowa, Purdue isn't sniffing the NCAA's
Other than CJ, don't need to guard any of Iowa's guards from 3. Unreal Connor can't make wide ass open shots.
We need to get out of the zone if for any reason so that Purdue can stop writing the handbook for everyone else on how to obliterate it.
Iowa's offense is stagnant because Wieskamp is an absolute non factor. Think about it, Connor has like 5 attempts from 3 and Joe has 1.
One positive. The cheerleaders came to play tonight. Even with little to cheer about they're still rocking it.

Thank goodness that **** fest half is over, I can get a break from it a bit, pound a few more beers and my goal of not being down 20 was met.

Better come out playing lock down defense in the second half. That's the only way to come back.
There is no reason to double. Williams is good and can score, but don't double to leave people open at the line.
Painter has Fran's number. Basically let Garza get whatever he will get, play Frederick and Wieskamp tough and not bother guarding anyone else. Iowa's bench has been dreadful, pretty much zero guys playing well. Tough to take.

Another complete meltdown! Not rebounding, don’t follow shots, falling asleep on defense and giving up multiple layups, and being man handled by a .500 ball club! Every team we play just needs to watch this one and our season will end quickly!!
I just hope this isn't the start of the Fran fade. Bad games happen but the body language is very concerning. They're playing tired and disinterested.
It would help if refs would disallow Purdue riding our blockouts under the bucket. Basically a two-hand shove into back on every shot.
