I’m sorry but this shit gets so old. Especially in the first half at home. Not saying they are going to come back and win but this team has shown statements like this especially in the first half of home games are ridiculous.

You know it’s just not our night. Let’s remain positive and watch Garza make history tonight when he gets his 17th point to break the single season record. They could come back tonight, they might not. Point is let’s watch Luka make history tonight and support this team through the tick and thin. It’s a privilege for us to be able to watch this team wether from the comfort of home, in a restaurant eating good food, or in the great confines of CHA. God bless and go hawks
This BS doesn’t fly in the tournament. I prefer the “hands off” way Fran coaches defense (when his players choose to play defense) versus the shove, grab, and tug style taught by Izzo and Painter... even at the expense of a couple wins (like this game)
More than half of Iowas wins have come against teams better than Purdue.
I feel like for some reason this Iowa team feels like they don't have to take this goofy looking Purdue team seriously.
Not shooting great but he is the only one showing ANY emotion what-so-ever in the first half. Everyone else looked like a whipped puppy dog.
What’s really going to piss me off is when they come out hot and cut it to like 8 and make me stay up only to give me the “average underwear” feeling.
I understand they haven’t played well tonight but this thread is ridiculous. They’ve come from behind how many times at home and a lot of you are posting like they are down 25 with 3 to go. They’ve showed to come back at home this year. I really hope they do because no matter how bad they are playing right now it’s far from over and a bunch of you are going to look pretty silly like a few other games this year.
You must not have watched the Virginia, MSU or Wisconsin games at Mackey. I expect you to get every call in the 2nd half and step up your intensity as well. Your team is really good when they are clicking, this game just means more to Purdue tonight. It’s do or die time now and they know it. When we play with effort we are top 25 good, but we are very inconsistent and fairly young.
