That is pretty useless information. You could recruit 5 kids ranked from 90 to 100 every year for 10 years and top this list. A list of top 5, 10, 15, or 20 kids would be much more informative.
top 100 means nothing
But they do have windows at their practice facilityTom Ryan seems to underperform more than Iowa.
But tOSU doesn't have the same history.
I guess these high ranked kids don’t do their homework and see that tOSU underperforms their talent level consistently. Cornell does as a team, but have had decent individual results, and they have the pull of getting an Ivy League degree. But they do have windows at their practice facility
Crazy stat. Ohio St. should be performing better at nationals imo.
Right? A top 100 kid is theoretically in the top 3-4 hundred for all classes, eh?That is pretty useless information. You could recruit 5 kids ranked from 90 to 100 every year for 10 years and top this list. A list of top 5, 10, 15, or 20 kids would be much more informative.
You are one of themI come to argue with delusional fans, carry on
not much there...Officially open season on the Columbia roster.
Pritz was the hot assistant coach 10 years ago. Surprising he’s now just becoming a head coach.
I am sure one of the math wizs could run simulations and they would prove out that Iowa would win 60-70% of the time, PSU would win 20-25% of the time, cornell X%, OSU x% and so on. Iowa was the heavy favorite, but there was likely a 30% chance someone else could win. To quote a crappy head coach....thats why they play the gameIt really is ok to just call 2020 what it is - a lost year.
Iowa was the HEAVY favorite to win.
PSU would have had a puncher's chance considering their consistent success at putting it in the finals.
We do not need to call ourselves the 2020 national champs. That's just stupid. No one competed in the tournament.
Their head coach also wrestled at Illinois. (Brooks Black)Illinois does have a leg up in that they are the only campus the Raney's have been to. but you also have to remember that that is largely do to the RTC radius and location.
Read your posting history here on HR. You tell me.Oh…..based off of what exactly?
I just ran the simulations. As expected, was an 82.8% probability Iowa wins that year. Round up if you like.I am sure one of the math wizs could run simulations and they would prove out that Iowa would win 60-70% of the time, PSU would win 20-25% of the time, cornell X%, OSU x% and so on. No no no, now you sound just like your boy ironturd, you make a claim with nothing factual, never anything to back it up. Facts hurtRead your posting history here on HR. You tell me.
If he does flip to ISU that is a massive win for the clones He looks the part of a multi time national champion.Has anyone else heard about Dee Lockett being in Iowa City?
My ISU buddy said they have some big, surprise recruit flipping to them soon. Out of curiosity, I looked at The Mat forums and one of the guys on there is saying that Lockett is in Iowa right now training.
Or maybe "to Iowa" meant Iowa State?
![]()
Since the ISU board is blowing up about them flipping a big commitment I would think he’s training in AmesSo is he in IC or Ames training?
Lol, um, because I asked the question after the post on the mat said "to Iowa" not Iowa State. Then why the crap are we talking about it here.
If true, Lockett would be the second major defection from OSU to ISU since DT was announced as head coach for the Pokes.Lol, um, because I asked the question after the post on the mat said "to Iowa" not Iowa State.
Also, if he is going to ISU, that's pretty big news that will no doubt be discussed on this board.
Woah don’t get me excited now.y'all are trying to get Dee, too.
This isnt New news. Iowa has been recruiting him for awhile now. He took one of his official visits to Iowa but ultimately choose osu. I figure Iowa sees him as taking over for Caliendo after a RS and later moving up to 174 possibly after Arnold?Woah don’t get me excited now.
y'all are trying to get Dee, too.
full article was just postedLots of interesting analysis of the last decade in college wrestling recruiting.
Let's change that order to1. Marcus Blaze
2. Dee Lockett (if he’s really back in play)
3. BO BASSETT
3. Raney Brothers
4. Hutchinson
You are Willie. It used to be cute and now is sad.@smalls103 …Thanks in advance! We love ya!
1000000% not Willie. But I do enjoy putting my ear pods in at work and listening to his shows. I have nothing at all against Willie. I think he is great for our sport. You are Willie. It used to be cute and now is sad.
2015-2019 finished 1,3,2,2,2
Crazy stat. Ohio St. should be performing better at nationals imo.
Blaze hasn’t committed yet so we should still be going hard after him.Let's change that order to
1. Bassett
2. Lockett(If he is really in play)
3. Raney Brothers
4. Melvin Miller
5. Hutcherson
I just don't think we are anywhere close to getting Blaze.
I would hope Iowa is going hard after him still. I just personally think he ends up at tOSU or PSU.Blaze hasn’t committed yet so we should still be going hard after him.
We areBlaze hasn’t committed yet so we should still be going hard after him.
I know you didn’t just give me the PSU motto!?!We are
