Recruiting?

I’ll except one finger as sacrifice. You can choose which one.

Makes me wanna watch showdown in little Tokyo.

One thing everybody keeps saying is Blaze wants to stay close to home.

Michigan- 1 hour drive
TOSU- 2 hour drive
Purdue- 3 1/2 hour drive
PSU- 5 hour drive
Iowa 6 1/2 hour drive
Cornell 6 1/2 hour drive
Yep, I’m thinking it’s an uphill battle, but we are pursuing hard. No idea on how the above teams rank, and I don’t think anyone else does either.

My buddy just text me that Lockett is a sure THANG (yes that's how he spelled it) to ISU. Also said they are not done.....
No idea how he would know. He is as connected as I am.... and that means he ain't.

In an interview Lockett gave after Taylor was hired, he made it sound like there was one guy in the area that he’s been training with for years. And as long as he’s still around town and the program, that’s what’s important to him. He wasn’t a formal assistant coach. Did he even do an official visit to ISU like he did us??

It’s the kids coach, Zo, that you are referring to.

I don’t think you will see Dee Lockett sign anywhere until after Nationals this year. He will see how Iowa State performs versus Oklahoma State and then go from there.

My guess is that Iowa State is VERY much in play.

The real test is to see if Iowa can wiggle there way in there.

Yes, if memory serves he visited Iowa State during Cy-Hawk dual

When we rained on their parade! Think we were his last official visit, because when he got home, the next day him and his dad where posing in front of his big new truck from a dealer in Stillwater, and shortly after he committed to Oklahoma state. Can’t believe two of their star recruits would want to go to ISU when they have the next Cael coming in to coach them.

Every twin originates from the same family.
Although not likely, fraternal twins can have different daddys. A more fertile than normal mommy may experience hyper ovulation and produce 2(twins), or even more, ova during one menstrual cycle.

As such, it is possible for the mommy to have relations with more than 1 daddy during said time period, allowing for heteropaternal superfecundation. Or, in layman’s terms, fraternal twins with the different biological fathers.

Although, in this case, I am pretty sure they are paternal twins, making Spooner correct in this particular case…😉

Now we just need high level 197. Miller in #21 in his class on flo, the same as Real Woods was. He never won a championship, but if miller has that good a career it would be great. Is there anyone in that size range with NC expectations in next few classes??
Cody Merrill, Carroll, Correa, Ludington.

So we actually have Miller at 197, and the Raneys haven’t committed anywhere, but “now we just need a high level 197”?

That’s the kind of genius logic that keeps everyone coming back to the board.

And I'm over here looking through recruiting rankings trying to figure out who can/will be our next high level recruit in the upper weights.

Have anyone talked about who the Millers remind them of?? Wrestling style and stuff like that??

Most of our best blue chip prospects in the next 2 classes are light and lower middle weights. Miller in no sure thing and would be our only 197. I know there is that kid who is an 8th grader everyone is high on, but he’ll end up at PSU if he keeps developing.

Miller is definitely no lock to be an AA but he is athletic and seems to have an upside if the coaches can develop him more.

This is the Hutcherson kid your talking about going to 9th grade. Hawks need to keep him from Penn State.
