Hope it’s us, we need some good newsAccording to Jarrells Instagram story Ty and Jarrell have made their college decision.
Ty would be buried on the depth chart here, will be interesting to see if it’s us.Hope it’s us, we need some good news
Did it sound like they both are going to the same school. Sounded like the bigger one visited North Carolina himself.Ty would be buried on the depth chart here, will be interesting to see if it’s us.
I also think Iowa has a shot at Bassett. That Penn State room around his weight is crowded. He would rejuvenate the Iowa program and bring a few other PA studs with him.The entire FRL crew today predicted Bassett’s recruitment will be a two horse race between Iowa and Penn State with the slight lean given to Iowa. Not sure if they have any insight or not but worth noting.
Is that Sulu from Star Trek.
ya...at this point it's like a rich kid teasing a poor kid about his clothes.Complete shock PSU continues to reel in elite talent while Iowas coaches barely recruit. Gimme break man.
it isn't crowded at all from 41-57I also think Iowa has a shot at Bassett. That Penn State room around his weight is crowded. He would rejuvenate the Iowa program and bring a few other PA studs with him.
You are right. I just went back and looked at your article.it isn't crowded at all from 41-57
as i wrote in the depth chart article, i think that's their area of biggest need.
anybody that did not see that isn't paying attention. you are right there with grip and ironbird at supporting the hawks while being in the middle of enemy territorythank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bassett does not workout regularly at M2. He trains at NLWC, Young Guns, and Compound(His father's room). I've had this conversation with other people and asked a friend of mine from PA whose son trains at Young Guns. His exact answer was that if Bassett is at M2 then it's maybe a few times a year at best. Not sure why people would think it is a 2 horse race between Iowa and PSU for the Bassett kid. The kid is from central PA and works out fairly regularly in the PSU room or in the M2 building with former/current PSU AAs (champs). The kid also has a strong relationship with Taylor.
PSU, tOSU, OkieSt and Iowa will recruit the kid from the front, but if he goes anyplace not called Penn State it will most likely be Stillwater.
well thats because marcus blaze hasnt committed there yet 😂it isn't crowded at all from 41-57

Did Spencer rejuvenate the Iowa program?I also think Iowa has a shot at Bassett. That Penn State room around his weight is crowded. He would rejuvenate the Iowa program and bring a few other PA studs with him.
Briefly, but the weight of the program on his back took a toll on his knees.Did Spencer rejuvenate the Iowa program?
Absolutely did. They won an NCAA title with him there.Did Spencer rejuvenate the Iowa program?
100% agree. Bassett is the type to go try to take those other guys out instead of following them.Bassett doesn’t strike me as someone who will follow the flock of other elite recruits and be okay blending in at PSU. FRL guys make a good point that being the face of a program would fit (and more likely appeal to) him much better.
One title, wouldn’t call that a rejuvenated program, maybe your standards are lower than mostAbsolutely did. They won an NCAA title with him there.

2020 and 2021 we were the best team period. How many titles has any non-PSU program won since Spencer set foot on campus. One title, wouldn’t call that a rejuvenated program, maybe your standards are lower than most
That would be the high point of all but 3 wrestling programs. One title, wouldn’t call that a rejuvenated program, maybe your standards are lower than most
Wasn’t aware Iowa won the title in 2020…..congrats champ2020 and 2021 we were the best team period. How many titles has any non-PSU program won since Spencer set foot on campus.
Dumbass
Did you not watch Big Tens?Wasn’t aware Iowa won the title in 2020…..congrats champ
Iowa got slammed by circumstances during a three-year period.Spencer absolutely gave the program a shot in the arm, but covid definitely slowed the growing momentum and threw a wet towel over the run they likely would have went on. The year the tourney got canceled was the best I've seen the Hawks look in recent memory with the entire lineup seemingly hitting their peak at just the right time. What a shame things couldn't have waited another week before shutting down. I still am gutted Lugo never got his chance for a title.
So winning the Big Ten title makes you national champions for the year… I think I’d make a pretty valid argument that you would definitely lose on that one but nice try, whatever helps you sleep at nightDid you not watch Big Tens?
I see it still irks you that Iowa was better than Ped St that year. Too bad buttercup. So winning the Big Ten title makes you national champions for the year… I think I’d make a pretty valid argument that you would definitely lose on that one but nice try, whatever helps you sleep at night

I hate that this made me laughBriefly, but the weight of the program on his back took a toll on his knees.
