According to a post on the PSU board, the same BEG guy saying Blaze to Penn State speculated Bo, Jax, and Ross to Iowa so take it for what it’s worth.

BEG is entertaining but they are just fans wildly speculating they don't seem to have much inside info or anything like that - would love if they are right on this of course
Most likely, Lilledahl is only a one-year 125 and then moving up to 133, so if Blaze slides in at 141, both Davis and Nagao are forced out. Lilledahl and Blaze are the guys who are going to mandate to others where they wrestle in the lineup (whether it's at PSU or anywhere else), and the others would have to just fill in.

Assuming it’s PSU. Getting ridiculous how many guys they have stockpiled up. 133-157 they will have Davis, Nagao, Dalton Perry, Blaze, Van Ness, Kasak, Facundo, Sealey, PJ Duke, Cunningham, etc. All for 4-5 weights. Does this help us at all with Bo/Jax?
Go Purdue. Would be less damaging to us in the team race. I can’t remember the last time Purdue had a national champion?
I'm sure they are expecting some to be forced to leave. Lilledahl is supposedly only a one year 125 and will move up to 133 next year (with Desmond coming in to the 125 spot). If Blaze commits there and eschews a RS year (which, why not, he's already beaten national runner-up caliber competition in open tournaments...), he'll slide into Bartlett's spot at 141 and both Davis and Nagao will be left either moving up to 149 to challenge SVN or hitting the portal.
As for Bo and Jax, I'm still working under the assumption that Ok St is the leader in the clubhouse for Jax and PSU is going to go hard for Bo to take over 149 and give them a lower middle weight lineup of Lilledahl - Blaze - Bo.
Of course, neither Blaze nor Bo have signed on the dotted line anywhere yet, so that's just the PSU plan. We'll see how it plays out.
There will be an even bigger log jam at 165-197 for PSU with guys who have already committed. MM and Haines are 165-174 and aren't going anywhere any time soon. Facundo is back, and is supposedly trying to suck to 157 to challenge Kasak for that spot, but who knows if he'll make that cut and/or what he'll look like after that. Zach Ryder is redshirting this year and will be in the mix for 174-184 starting next year. Sealey is another RS this year listed at 165, which tells me he can't make 157 because if he could, 157 this year is as wide open of a spot as there will ever be at PSU. Duke comes next year, but may have to also have to wait until MM/Haines clear out until he gets a starting spot unless he can make 157 next year. Barr is going 197 this year while Mirasola redshirts, but he'll have to get back down to 184 next year since the assumption is that Mirasola will step into 197. They also have Will Henckel and Asher Cunningham coming next year as well with no apparent path to a starting spot without beating out one of those other guys. Those are all at least potential AA caliber guys.
That's a whole lot of days, weights and assumptions away, I have heard of guys shrinking in height to get to their optimal weight for college wrestling.

Problem with signing Ross is we have big Ben!!! Not sure How you would navigate that? Ben is a redshirt Freshman, he would have 3 years remaining. Unless you start playing the F*** st games with gray shirt, injury year, walk year etc.....

Cael Nasdeo greyshirted last season and is on campus this year as a RS freshman 125/133. He's a long shot to ever make the lineup, though, behind Lilledahl, Davis, Desmond, etc.
I guess everyone should? It is becoming more and more ridiculous in my opinion though. I mean they just announced Gable will be back at heavy. I know this has F*** st bandwagon fans panties in a bundle, but the crazy part is, he is in his mid twenties.

Yes, everyone should optimize their chance to be the best team they can be today and in the ensuing years. No F*N St fans panties are in a bunch over Gable. It makes no difference in the team race and even adds a little spice to NCAAs. Kerk will need to rise to the occasion or he will likely finish second. BK will also likely need to go thru Kerk and/or Gable and/or Hendrickson on his way to the podium.
I, for one, as a PSU fan, love it. Gable returning makes the heavyweight class all that much better and more entertaining. I can't wait to see the heavies at nationals. Could it cost Kerk a title? Yes, very likely, but it will also give him one last shot to best his nemesis, too, and it's definitely not going to cost PSU a national team title to Minny. LOL.
Gable, Kerk, Yonger, Hendrickson, Schultz, Kueter, and Feldman are all champion or at least high AA level guys. Even the "second tier" with Trumble, Luffman, Snacks, Slavakouski, etc. are really good and entertaining. Heavyweight is absolutely stacked this year.
Who thought Minny will be in race for team title? Nobody. We’re hoping GS can help slow PSU down but nobody expects Minny to win it all.
