Spill the beans Steevo. How did the boys look Saturday? Everyone look healthy? Curious about Peterson and Block.
Also how do Arnold, Brands and Ferrari along with Kennedy look, although PK is gone at U23, did they wrestle each other?
How are the transfers fitting in? Any boys getting after it? Were the recruits wrestling/rolling around?

Petersen and Ayala were together. Terry spent a lot of time working with them.
Block was with Parco, Arnold with Young, Brands with Marinelli. Tons of good action with Arnold-Young and Brands-Marinelli when I was watching them.
Recruits can't practice with the team, but Bo wrestled with DeSanto and Lee before open practice, and Jax also went with DeSanto.

Any idea when Iowa will be having wrestle-offs? Sounds like they will be closed to public. So many other schools had theirs this week so I know Iowa's have to be coming up or are already over.

To expand a bit, I didn’t get the sense that Marinelli was going full blast with Brands.
I was impressed with Block. He held his own with Parco. Block is really hard to score on.
Ayala had his way with Petersen when I was watching, but didn’t pay quite as close attention.
Keuter Buchanan was pretty boring for the most part. Not a lot of scoring, but I’d say Keuter got the best of Buch.
Ferrari didn’t have a partner when they went live. At least not when I was there. I wasn’t there the whole time.
Brands is a perfect size for 174 IMO. Intra squad matches were last week. It's a chance for guys to wrestle while weighing in +2 lbs, and wrestle a match with time and score being kept. There weren't a lot of big pairings. The true wrestle offs will be against the opposition and SS. AF looks great. He goes with SB a lot.

Hey @smalls103 - noticed you didn't have Ohio State listed for Bouzakis as a commit. He opening his recruitment up?
I dunno if anyone saw the letter that bo posted that a young fan gave him. I know this young man quite well and have to say he's doing his best recruiting pitch for bo to come to Iowa!
Speaking of recruiting, wast Marcus Blaze supposed to commit 2-3 weeks ago.
Pretty sure he’s just gonna mail in a letter a week before he heads off to college. It doesn’t seem like he’s much for fanfare.
Most people probably forgot the best high school wrestler who’s a senior is still uncommitted. Hard to believe he is still agonizing over this. He should take some in season visits to check out their usual atmosphere at a meet. Maybe he could come to carver at least once and check out our new facility which we didn’t have when he and Lockett visited over a year ago.
With Davino beating Bouzakis and Mendes at 141, Ohio State has a small problem on their hands if Blaze is leaning there. And Maddox Shaw is too shabby either at the 3rd rated 150 pound commit, who plans on 149
There would be no "problem" - Mendez would move up for Blaze/Davino
Bouzakis is odd man out, and who can be surprised? Ryan recruited Davino over him.
Unless Davino is at 141 and Mendez at 149 in the coming years....how long can Blaze hold 133?
Vince would be an amazing addition. 165.
Nic doesn't really fit. He's a 133. Would be an undersized 141, which would be a waste of the wrestling skills he DOES have.
Nic has a redshirt available I believe. He could RS next year while Drake finishes his senior year.
Nic redshirted 2 years ago when Mendez was at 33.
Considering Tom doesn't really redshirt guys... Bouzakis needs to medshirt this year and save the year.

We were/are better off with Teske/Ayala at 133 anyway, so I'm good with how things turned out.

He’s only been offered to play football at Iowa and Iowa st of the 4. He has a football graphic there though.

i think he's leaning Lehigh though he did take a visit to N. Carolina.
Do you think he did this because he knows his brother is probably getting squeezed out of the lineup and will be transferring? Nic probably wouldn’t have a problem breaking the lineup at those 2 schools also. He was such a big recruit, can’t believe he has struggled so much at tOSU.
