You act like what PSU is doing in recruiting is normal. Now, I have NEVER been one to accuse PSU of cheating. But, I get why many do. It is REALLY hard for an opposing fan to wrap their head around what PSU is doing. So, it makes it a lot easier to swallow when you can accuse them of doing something nefarious to make it happen...


Edited to add: If you do go look, go back and look before NIL and see what everyone said about Alabama football recruiting every year. Hell, look at what Texas A&M did the first NIL year and see how every other fan followed that...

We now know how the rest of the country felt about Iowa and Gable and why we were so hated and still are the most hated wrestling program in the country. Gable, Kerk, Yonger, Hendrickson, Schultz, Kueter, and Feldman are all champion or at least high AA level guys. Even the "second tier" with Trumble, Luffman, Snacks, Slavakouski, etc. are really good and entertaining. Heavyweight is absolutely stacked this year.

Swap Schultz and Trumble and I agree with you. Schultz is 100% over rated, Trumble stumbled a little early this year, but he will come around.

Bo also visited V tech which have been recruiting well. They had a meet with Missouri, a pretty good team. They promoted this meet hard, encouraged big crowd, knew Bo was in town, and still looked about a 1/3-1/2 full by looking at video Bo took. Makes you appreciate our attendance. By our standards, the crowd at Stanford was so so, but our transfers were impressed. Wait until they experience a big ten rival meet, or the Oklahoma state meet. Will blow them away. Hope our biggest targets can get to one of these meets before making their decision.

FYI and FWIW, the Raneys came to the dual decked out in their Hawkeye gear and were mingling with our team and coaches before and after the dual. The admiration and respect for our staff was very palpable.
