Cesspool needs a distraction, so......

There are 13(including Suriano) returning champs in this year's field. Pick the 4 most likely to win again AND 4 least likely to win(in order of confidence).

Spencer
RBY
Suriano
N. Lee
Yianni
AOC
Carr
Griffith
Starocci
Lewis
Brooks
Ferrari
Steveson

Most likely Spencer, Gable, Yianni and damn I’m stuck between Cstar, Brooks and Carr but I’ll go with Carr.
Least likely Suriano and AOC are almost as easy picks as it was to pick Spencer and gable to win. Edit. Changing to Lewis and Griffith as 3rd and 4th least likely.

In my opinion these 7 are heavy favorites in their weight class listed in confidence pick order: Spencer, Steveson, Yianni, Brooks, Carr, Ferrari, RBY

In the finals, but lose to our guy this year: N. Lee, Starocci

These are Tsirtsis like guys that things went right one time: Lewis, O'Connor

Suriano isn't on a roster, but wouldn't have beat Spencer at 125 or RBY at 133.

Under the gun I'd still probably have Griffith as a favorite, but took a weird loss and I want to think that Marinelli could finally have a tournament.

Right on. I really hope the Bull pulls it all together this season.

I’ll go least first:
1. Griffith ( he’s lost already and the Bull)
2. Starrocci cause of the Kemdog
3. N. Lee cause of Eirman
4. Lewis ( see #1)

Most
1. S. Lee ( nuf’ said)
2. Steveson
3. Carr
4. Brooks

Lots of posters have Lewis and Griffin as least likely to win another title. Coincidence?
Griffith already lost. Lewis is up a weight and had a significant shoulder injury during the tourney last year it appeared.

I think we have to see Spencer wrestle and see whether or not Suriano is wrestling to predict how likely Spencer (or RBY) is to repeat. As Tom said, Spencer has zero ACL’s. Let’s see how he looks and keep our fingers crossed.

If Suriano is wrestling 133, then RBY’s chances go down. That is already a monster weight class.

Looking forward to Yianni v Sasso at 149 at some point. As well as Ferrari v Dean/Elam at 197. Micic at 141 as well if he actually going this year. Lots of intriguing matchups

Tommy doesn’t usually discuss injuries. I think SL should consider redshirting and getting healthy. Maybe get bionic ACL’s?

If Bull, Max and Assad all step up, we might not need SL’s points this year. Especially if they can get any points out of 125.

We aren’t winning a team title without significant points from Spencer Lee.

It is interesting that Ferrari doesn't make anyone's least or best list. And, I wish we didn't see "AOC" used on wrestling forums. Let's call him UNC or something else instead.
Yeah… Keep it up. Soon a tiny town in a tiny state in the middle of nowhere will be a reel turn off for all but a certain…. “type.”

Yeah. Like health care for all. What a whack idea.
Dub, I’m not getting into a political debate on here, but She is horrible and just one of many unqualified, corrupt ,irresponsible politicians that are trashing our country. If you think they are doing a good job then keep voting that way, but I warn you One thing is constant “you reap what you sow”

It doesn't matter what direction you are politically, left or right, if you are too far in either direction then you are exactly the same. Especially equal in ruining wrestling threads with politics.
Yeah, but this thread was ruined when guys starting losing faith in Spencer anyway!

Welcome to Iowa, potential recruits…. Do you want to listen to Blake Shelton or Carrie Underwood first?

Feel free to think anything you want about any political person but universal healthcare isn’t a wacky idea.

Speaking of reaping what you sow, imagine working 35 years on your family farm and being diagnosed with cancer or really any disease that happens when you age. Then you go through numerous test and see specialist after specialist until they finally begin treatment. Then that first bill comes and you can’t believe what you see. Suddenly those 35 years of working and saving for a decent retirement go right down the shitter because private insurance keeps raising prices so they can keep making money year after year, and life saving procedures become end of life chokeholds.

That kind of crap happens all the time. There are many wacky insane political idea coming from both side of the crazy aisle but I gotta believe that universal healthcare isn’t one of them.

Sorry for the diatribe, this will be the one and only political message you’ll ever read from me.

We don’t have to agree on everything, and I’m sure we don’t, but I’ve noticed your name and you share the same passion for Iowa wrestling and wrestling in general as I do, and that makes you okay in my book.

Well universal healthcare always sounds like a great idea, till you realize no way to pay for it. Drs, nurses, techs, all healthcare employees and businesses will not make things cheaper by taking less money.

Cost of healthcare increases like everything else faster than prevailing wage and they still ask fir more taxes.

86 I respect your opinion, but the healthcare part of why I dislike that particular politician is low on a very long list And she does not deserve our respect to even discuss her.
this is my last post on this subject until this season is completed.
