I didn't realize the feelings of China were part of this debate. Why do we need to consider how China feels when discussing Biden but for some reason it is irrelevant to the actions Trump takes?
if that’s all there is to it why are canada mexico and china considering retaliatory tariffs instead of just letting us sink alone?

Not sure if you have ever ordered from China or not, he also removed exemptions on small purchases from China. Before if you placed an order with less than an $800 declared value it was tariff free. If it was over $800 you had to pay a tariff to get it released from customs. Trump just eliminated that exemption. I have no idea how this will affect Amazon, obviously prices will jump, but I'm not sure how the logistics will work.
