I have quite a few good friends from Minnesota- they're generally kind, logical people. Which is probably why most of them are Wisconsin/Packers fans.

Minnesota fans are kinder, smarter, better looking and more knowledgeable about football than Iowa State fans. That's not saying much, I know, but it's the best I could come up with at a moment's notice.

My brother, a Hawkeye grad, now goes to UM for grad school so I've been up there a bunch of times in the past couple years. Minneapolis is actually a pretty nice city. The light rail conveniently links the campus to downtown in 20 minutes. Lots of nice bars/restaurants, museums, and music venues.

It is a pretty decent place. Outside of some twin cites snobbery, the people seem pretty nice.

For one Saturday a year, I get to hate all of them. Really it is for only about three hours that Saturday.
