Darn. That was the key match we had to win to have a chance at this. Gonna have to find pts somewhere else.
This kind of crap needs to end, if a guy doesn't take one shot an entire match he should be DQ'd or close to DQ'd by the end of the match
Went to OT, no score after first minute. Nico choose down and escaped in 5 seconds no score went to thomas down and he escaped in 5 seconds.
Nico got underneath Gilman and Gilman tried what looked like a gut wrench from out front and literally pull nico right on top of him for the winning TD????

Disappointed in Gilman, he made better attempts than megaludis but he still settled for pushing and hand fighting and let it be a toss up at the end. It looked like he just pulled mega on top of himself or something in ot. Wrestle to win Gilman, can't revert back in big matches.
I wouldn't call it wilting. It soundalike he was going for the win by being offensive and it did not work out for him.. Lets face it, Mega is no slouch. He will have another chance in 2 weeks, I am guessing.
Now as that comment really necessary?
And nobody should be shocked when Megaludis keeps winning just like that. Nothing has changed with that kid since he stalled his way into past finals.
Good analysis. Gilman is my favorite Iowa wrestler, including the face mushing. This match was a nail biter and I hope to see them in the NCAA finals. Don't be down on Gilman.

Clark went after Taylor from the get go and that's why he came away with the win. Conditioning and two mental lapses lead to Taylor's defeat in that match. Honest opinion - he looked better than Cory Clark minus his lungs... I loved Clark's intensity, though!
On Mega v. GIlman I don't think Mega stalled during that match. He's got great flexibility and used it to his advantage. Gilman lost the match for himself more than Mega won it.

At the end.of the Clark match it looks and sounds like Brands runs over to the Wisconsin guys and yells you tell your fficial we beat him too. On the BTN feed. Maybe I was hearing things...
I would not say Mega is a staller. In the matches I have watched, he keeps trying to attack low, but he does it from a tight tie up. Most of the time he scores later in the match. What is the difference between shooting form a tight tie and being heavy on the head and snapping all day. I prefer to watch the shooting style.
He moves on bottom and he seems to be trying to turn on top. That head and arm or body and arm scary he uses isn't a stall move to me.

If you want to score on mega you have to get in deep and put him down hard, grabbing legs won't cut it. Gilman learned today what won't win a NT. Wrestle to win!
Hawknado- you do realize the "sensitive" one is Evans parent right?
