Nice photos.Some of the tornadoes I saw today. 2 cyclical supercells, one in Nebraska the other in Iowa. Watched the Iowa tornado cross 80 near Shelby.
Watched Lincoln Tornado rip some stuff up.

Not a drop of rain in KC last night. Sounds like our fun might be today. 4/5 Enhanced Risk just southwest of here. We don't see that very often.

More so for central OK up into eastern KS than anybody else, but something tells me this is going to be a long day in Iowa too, especially in the same areas as yesterday.
As usual, here in eastern Iowa...they're predicting lots of rain later today through tomorrow. Let's see if the storms cooperate.

Today looks pretty messy with lots of storms shitting where they eat. May not get the level of outbreak we saw yesterday, although a lot of the ingredients are there. Still, keep an eye out.
Too many storms firing too early. Big outbreaks are all about timing. Problem today may be little to no cap in place.
All that said... I am curious about how south central Iowa plays out. Not a lot of storm competition yet and they should be entering the area later in the day when parameters are better.

Went by the aftermath today of where that hit. Looked to be at least 20 train cars derailed and blown off the tracks. Multiple vehicles in the fields surrounding 1/4 of a building completely leveled and whole lot of sheet metal scattered around
The line pretty much goes from Dubuque to the Missouri River.

Line of storms is strengthening as it heads east. Wind threat seems the main thing. 70mph warned SE of IA City
He certainly does. I actually heard a bit of thunder about 10 minutes ago - maybe it's a sign.
Still not raining yet.
I do believe it is certainly possible that what's out west will hold together to eventually reach us. But I'm worried that given it's moving at a snail's pace that it may blow out by the time it gets here.

About to get interesting here in Washington County. Green/gray sky, 10 degree drop, yard light on an hour early, bird song all but stopped, almost no wind. Looks to be dropping some decent rain, hope it gets up your way @bagdropper.

Hey, it's raining (lightly)! Of course, that line of strong storms south of CR is going to slide right on by and not make much of a move further north. The IC area might get a nice soaker, but CR isn't going to get one (if at all) until overnight (hopefully).
