calling Jok the best player is a bit of a stretch, he was good but he also a liability on defense and as a ball handler as he had 80 to's which led the team and only 34 steals.

JBo led the team in 3 pointers made and avg'd 41.6% from 3, Jok made 84 3's but only hit at a 38% rate, since Gaten as left this same thing keeps rearing its ugly head, well who is going to replace the best player ie; leading scorer and yet somebody always does
Marble as a JR took his place while SO White became the 2nd leading scorer, and that team with 3 FR starter in top 100 FR Gesell, top 100 FR Woodbury and Clemmons won 25 games and reached the NIT Championship game.

then when Marble graduated it started again as Marble was a 1st Team All BT and a 2nd round NBA Draft pick, this time 2nd leading scorer White became the leading score with Uthoff becoming the 2nd leading scorer and that team went 12-6 with a tie for 3rd and a 1st round win in the NCAA's.

then its starts all over again who is going to replace a 1st team All BT and 2nd round NBA Draft pick in White, but again Uthoff the 2nd leading Scorer leads the team in scoring and Jok takes over as the 2nd scorer and then Uthoff end becomes a 1st team All BT

now it begins again but this time Fran's team is well stocked and returns 11 players 6 of which started at one point last season along with #2 scorer in Cook who avg'd 12.3 ppg and 3rd leading scorer JBo who avg'd 10.9 ppg

they also return these who were all BT in one form or another

its just the plain and simple truth. Fran is recruiting at a higher level and is approaching the level of Lute. Lute in 9 years produced 5 straight NCAAT's, 1 FF, 1 BT Championship, 1 sweet 16 not to bad this is the direction that Fran is heading.
