Travis and Ross start out by calling it anemic football.

NW with 34 yards rushing in the 1st half....

159 yards in the 2nd averaging 5 yards a pop

I wanted to send in an email or whatever it is they read.....

"Which has more commercials: a college football game on Fox.........or SoundOff on WHO?"

Listening to it now.....do these guys ever call for coaching changes or do they stop short knowing it won't happen?

And to answer a question they just asked....NO, KF does not like superstars on his team....HE wants all the credit for coaching up 2 stars.....doesn't want the players getting the credit for being natural gifted athletes. Been saying this for a decade.

Travis just said if Gary Barta is your AD then Brian is your next coach because Barta believes in mediocrity. No 20 year coach should get a bonus at 20 years.

I strongly disagree with this. Kirk does not want superstars, he wants team. He is not the kind of person who takes or seeks credit for developing kids. Kirk might be a lot of things, but not that.

Did anyone ask why Kyle Groeneweg is handling PR duties when we have the #2 KR in the nation? Did anyone ask why it took Riley Moss getting burnt for 3 TD against Purdue last week before he got pulled?

That's completely different than fielding a kickoff, completely different. Catching the ball and ball security comes first.

Sorry but this loss is squarely on BF. His offense is getting worse and his play calling is something out of a video game.

The screen to a WR only works on Xbox!

Iowa has to do something different moving forward. The offense is way too inconsistent for this team. The defense is manageable but damn our offense sucks. Quit running I formation on first down and then 5 wide the next play??? Wtf is that.

#2 in the nation in kickoff returns, makes a ridiculous circus catch tonight (not the first time that has happened), but gets outtargetted by a slow ass JUCO white boy from Newton, IA that didnt have an FBS offer. BAU
Try hard walk on. That'll show 'em!

So you can'y have a "team" if there are superstars on it? KF does NOT go out of his way to lock up superstars.....never has.

First, you have to catch the ball, not let it land and roll 10 to 15 yards, therefore taking what was great field position, getting terrible field position. Seen this all too often from the staff. Terrible coaching in not making a change when it happens over and over again. It’s like they don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings unless guys like Fant or ISM.

Groeneweg has fair caught a ball within the 5 yard line this year. He also cost us the Wisconsin game by not fair catching/petering the ball that Beyer idiotically kicked.

We have the most electric athlete outside of Wadley in the Ferentz era and #2 KR in the nation losing the PR gig to a Dutch kid out of the University of Sioux Falls and Inwood, IA with no FBS offers. BAU

Funny how Easley and Groeneweg can break right into the rotation while others languish behind lesser talent. Come to think of it, that's exactly what happened to Wadley in his first two years because it was the Hebrew Hammer show - almost (should have) lost him to transfer.

ISM should transfer somewhere where they will let him light the college football world on fire. He is that good, but KF and BF seem to continue to think Easley and Groeneweg are the better options.

So are you saying Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, etc aren’t “teams”? Because they sure look like well-oiled machines that are composed of superstars.

Or are you just saying he’s content with mediocrity? I’ll agree with you, because that’s what it looks like.

That’s what I’m upset about, put ISM back there to get as many touches on the ball as possible. Add in Groenweg fielded the punt late that was going to go into the end zone but he caught the line drive, tackled inside the 15. Stupid players make stupid plays.
