Lugo, Desanto, Eierman (minus knee injury), Woods (minus bad call)Which transfers got better at Iowa?
I would argue that Eirman did not get better at Iowa. He looked like the exact same wrestler he was at MU. His finish was higher, but he didn't look to be any better. He always had finalist potential.Lugo, Desanto, Eierman (minus knee injury), Woods (minus bad call)
His overall style and technique really did not change, but his mental aspect, conditioning and a lot of little things he did getting prepared and, on the mat, did improve.I would argue that Eirman did not get better at Iowa. Seriously? Do you think you are going to just do a complete overhaul of a guy that already had 4 years in another room? You think that is even a possibility?I would argue that Eirman did not get better at Iowa. He looked like the exact same wrestler he was at MU. Didn’t he beat Lee in big ten finals that year also?Seriously? Do you think you are going to just do a complete overhaul of a guy that already had 4 years in another room? You think that is even a possibility?
Now, what they can do is refine him. Which is exactly what they did. Eierman was clearly in better shape, prior to his devastating injury, and his confidence and in match strategy was nearly flawless.
Regardless of what many on here think, there are times where you absolutely can see a game plan/strategy in place and it was very evident with Eierman. The problem was always going to be Lee in neutral. If Eierman couldn't get a takedown, you KNEW Lee wasn't choosing down. No coaching was going to remotely level that part of the playing field. If Eierman couldn't get his slide by to work, he was going to have a very hard time winning that match and it still went to OT for him to lose to a pretty damn good opponent...
True Romance wasn't a true Tarantino movie. He wrote it but didn't direct it. But you are right that it is a wonderful movie.Best Tarantino movie is True Romance. If you're unfamiliar with it you're welcome.
Yep. But, I would say he wrestled nearly the best possible match he could and still only held on to win by 1. Lee was a legit beast his last 2 seasons.Didn’t he beat Lee in big ten finals that year also?
In wrestling or his observational skills. He’s not a project that needs a lot of improvement, lol!!!!
