Why suck it Bardo? Did he say something during the game? I feel like he is always slobbering all over you guys, haha.
I do NOT get the Bardo hate, I see it often here, I vehemently do NOT agree.
Bardo is excellent. Complements both sides frequently.
I like Bardo. I think he is fair and knowledgeable.
Why? Bardo is pretty tame. I like him.

I like Bardo. He exaggerates but so does every other color guy not named Bilas.
the past few games he seems to go out of his way to mention any little thing we get away with and then is quick to say "play on" when anything happens to us.
Bardo is always very complimentary of the Hawks.
Bardo is great. Best color guy. I don't mind Settle either, since he is Hawkeye.
Hawks have played well with Bardo. He gives Iowa some respect and at least knows who our players are and what they do.
He knows big ten history too which I like. He can talk about 80s and 90s players from just random B10 teams. That only comes from watching a lot of B10 ball over the past 30-40 years, don’t get that with a lot of color guys.
Bardo is ok other than being a Illini homer. He's also from my end of the state.

Meh. He’s been pretty complimentary towards iowa too. Said garza was the best big in the country tonight.

I noticed he has at least stopped screaming little wheezy all the time.

I like Bardo. But we have had him for what seems like EVERY game. So some folks eventually pick out something they don't like.

I think it's because he's an Illinois guy and some of our older Eastern Iowa-based Hawk fans still hold grudges with our friends across the river..........
Not following the OP on this one. Might as well call Bardo the voice of the Hawkeyes because it seems like he’s called almost all our conference games this year and has been very complimentary towards us and member of the Garza fan club.
The only issue I had with Bardo tonight was his “short handed” Badger comments. Shit, brother, have you checked out Iowa’s injuries/illnesses this year?
We get away with something weak and he makes it sound like we got away with murder. Cmac gets tackled and his opinion is "play on". WTF? lolnot down with OP

He likes physical play more than I do, but on the whole, he's good. Way more good to say than bad.
Bardo is great - one of the best out there. I don’t get the OP on this one.
Bardo is very hawkeye friendly. Really good man as well. Glad we have someone calling our games familiar and respectful of the Hawks in Bardo!

Seems to me every analyst and play by play guy has been very complimentary of Iowa this year. I see no reason for anyone to complain about Bardo. He sounds like he is enjoying calling Iowa games!
