It's probably so the ladies will drink it also.If it tastes like a light beer then I wont be drinking it. I'm certainly not a beer snob, but I don't drink light beer. Just don't think they taste like anything.

It's no longer about revenue generating, it's about "feelings and equality". Look at the women's USA soccer bitching how they don't get paid enough, yet they continually (ignorantly) refuse to see that men's soccer generates 10x the revenue. Or the wNBA and how it relies 99% on the the NBA for funding.another top tier revenue sport.....
Wrong. The women's national team generates more revenue than the men. Don't confuse it with professional sports. The amount of ignorance on GIA is amazing. It's no longer about revenue generating, it's about "feelings and equality". NBA's average annual revenue amounts to $9.2 billion; in contrast, the average annual revenue for WNBA is estimated to be $75 million, which is quite low, and a major reason for this colossal difference is viewership. NBA has a huge viewing audience, while WNBA has limited viewers.Wrong. The women's national team generates more revenue than the men. Don't confuse it with professional sports. Your exact words:NBA's average annual revenue amounts to $9.2 billion; in contrast, the average annual revenue for WNBA is estimated to be $75 million, which is quite low, and a major reason for this colossal difference is viewership. NBA has a huge viewing audience, while WNBA has limited viewers.
The women's World Cup is expected to generate $131 million in revenues - just 2% as much as the $6.1 billion generated by the men's 2018 World Cup.
I was talking about the world (just mistyped USA instead of Oympic figures) and not the nation team. The national team for women out revenues the mens.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the revenue generated overall via the men’s vs women’s WC and how that is paid out is not figured in to this?Wrong. The women's national team generates more revenue than the men. Don't confuse it with professional sports. The amount of ignorance on GIA is amazing.
And I said I mistyped and meant the Olympic stage, read my last response again. And the Olympic\world stage men vs women I linked to show the disparity.Your exact words:
"Look at the women's USA soccer bitching how they don't get paid enough, yet they continually (ignorantly) refuse to see that men's soccer generates 10x the revenue."
This is an issue specific to the USA regarding pay. You know it.
Stop it.And I said I mistyped and meant the Olympic stage, read my last response again. And the Olympic\world stage men vs women I linked to show the disparity.
Good Lord, you certainly won't let that die...What the interim AD should do is ask Hawkeye fans why don't they support the team by belonging to SWARM?
1800 is an embarrassment.
The real hypocrisy came when the soccer chick--after screaming ad nauseum about "equality"--then said Bio males competing against females is perfectly fine. It's no longer about revenue generating, it's about "feelings and equality". Look at the women's USA soccer bitching how they don't get paid enough, yet they continually (ignorantly) refuse to see that men's soccer generates 10x the revenue. similar to Coors light with less after taste. Very solid light beer
It will be $20 for a $12 pack in most places….If it tastes good I am in!!!
You know there are probably 60,000+ Hawkeye fans at Kinnick on any given football Saturday that would BUY a Hawkeye Swarm Beer T-shirt to help you advertise. Put a players "likeness" on the T-shirt. Have the player sign some for a few extra bucks. Hawkeye Swarm Beer baseball caps, I'm in for that too!Right…having to spend donor money on advertisements at Kinnick is a tough one for me to come to grips with…
That's not bad. You get any craft brew or imported and it's not gonna be any less. Looking forward to trying a cold one. Supposed to be mid-90s for temps here by next week, so gonna be super thirsty. It will be $20 for a $12 pack in most places….
Great thing is when the wife catches one drinking and maybe shouldn't be, you can just say you are helping the Hawks!

And I won't let it die until I embarrass enough of you to move that number past 1800.Good Lord, you certainly won't let that die...
The Swarm founder himself has dispelled this claim. When you keep posting this stuff, it only stirs up divisions in the fan base, which ultimately hurts the Swarm. The Swarm needs to be seen as something positive, something that is supporting Hawkeye athletics. It won’t succeed if it’s seen as something controversial. And I won't let it die until I embarrass enough of you to move that number past 1800.
How can you claim to be a fan and not help SWARM in getting us on fair footing concerning recruiting.
Tailgating and buying tickets to the game does zero regarding the NIL world we live in.
Well heck, let's all not buy tickets and stay home and just send all of our money to Swarm. They played in empty stadiums in 2020.And I won't let it die until I embarrass enough of you to move that number past 1800.
How can you claim to be a fan and not help SWARM in getting us on fair footing concerning recruiting.

What I say would have little negative impact on anyone who actually supports the Hawkeyes. The cheap asses just use it as a reason to make excuses. How do you know whether or not I support SWARM?
I will say, though, that posts like yours do not inspire me to give/continue/increase. It's like watching a cult in action, like the Moonies and Krishnas "working" people at O'Hare Airport back in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
I will add that in the past 2 weeks, I have had conversations with both my dad (big Hawk fan) and my sister (modest Hawk fan) about the Swarm. Neither was aware of its existence.
This tells me that the Swarm may need to dramatically increase its marketing efforts. I saw Brad say one time that he was squeamish about using donor money for advertising (rather than for supporting players). While I can understand that sentiment, if the Swarm is to be successful, people need to know about it. And you’ve got to spend money to accomplish that.
Is there a better tap handle in the plans?
Really? So the tap handle impacts the taste of the beer?Is there a better tap handle in the plans?

I missed the part where I saidReally? So the tap handle impacts the taste of the beer?
Only someone glued to a seat at the bar would even notice the tap handle.
Pete is a known troll.
I believe so.Wasn’t he outed on the OT board for being a sex offender?
It’s entertainment. We pay to be entertained. Same reason we go to baseball games, etc. Until there is a draft, this is used to try to draw in good athletes to be entertained by them. It’s more entertaining when your team wins.I want to ask alumni over the age of 40 if they will really give to this over giving to the U. What are you getting personally from donating to a bunch of professional 20 year olds?
