Yes they really are. IMO a byproduct of all the years of pumping their chests about JoePa and how they do everything right and classier than anyone. Then that came crashing down and they have been barking at anything perceived dangerous that comes towards the fence. Now Cael fits that classier than anyone narrative and also quenches that long jealous of Iowa winning wrestling all these decades while Pennsylvania simply pissed all that instate talent down there legs. Cael is like justification of class and winning x1 million for that fanbase.
The thing that amazes me is they don't seem to use any common sense or morals in any situation. Instead they resort to if there isn't a criminal charge or conviction then it isn't happening, hasn't happened and that's that. Morals take a backseat to legal liability. Most of us in Iowa can seem to separate and know that difference where they seem to not even entertain those thoughts.
Example: Imagine if they were Barry Bonds fans. Because he was never banned or convicted with a crime, he obviously never did any HGH or steroids and you are a low class SOB to even have those thoughts!

The NCAA will never investigate wrestling unless there is something like a human rights issue that gets in the mainstream media that forces their hand.
They have a hard enough time connecting the dots with NCAA basketball and all the shoe money.
It would be interesting to watch Cael actually ever be asked tough questions but I'm afraid if anyone like Flo, Andy Hamilton or Jason Bryant tried then it would be career suicide. You cant go after Cael like you could an Urban Meyer. Platform is too small and connected.

I disagree because with this Teasdale thing. I haven't seen a single PSU poster question the timing of a health issue and how immediately being eligible for competition is whats best for the kid?
Ive asked many times on this thread that many of us completely understand allowing Gavin back in the practice room can be great structure being around peers in a supportive environment. I think everyone is on board that is the best interest of the kid.
But not one PSU poster has even acknowledged or went down the road question how getting him in competition is needed for the best interest of a kid?
Most anyone with common sense tells you to ease a kid with any health issue back into things. Immediately throwing a kid back into competition is exactly what Cael did with Long and how did that turn out?
IMO its fair to question Cael on trying to get Gavin into the scuffle. No one is questioning letting him be on the team. Not one media person asks Cael because they are afraid of his smug arse and worried about their career. You cant hold Cael's feet to the fire as there just isnt strength in media numbers like a major sport. Its not just Cael though, I don't think anyone has the guts to question Brands either. Especially when Terry will ask you to go to the parking lot. Its amazing what these coaches get away with because its not under the spotlight.
But every damn single PSU poster thinks Cael is above questioning this. And immediately turn to well Iowa did this or you don't know the facts.
Fact is patience usually helps everything from health to a learning experience.

BTW Im of the belief Cael wanted him wrestling competitively and his has run into some hurdles from up above. Probably someone in the schools administration questioning what I am.

I think you dont know Tom and Terry very well. I assure you than Terry has and would "question" Tom and "meet him in the parking lot" or worse if Tom suggested anything detrimental to any Hawkeye wrestler. And vice versa!

No one called out the kid or wished him any ill-will from what I read. The idea is to try and have an honest discussion about things taking place in the sport that most of us love.
IF any team(s) /person(s) seem to be doing odd things, and/or odd things seem to be taking place. As fans you have the right to ask questions. The last thing anyone wants or this sport needs is a black mark against it.
Some have stated for example that if indeed psu got caught playing games with Club $$$, how bad that would be for ALL the Wrestling clubs! I agree with this 100%.

Have had that thought for a while, but a sneaking suspicion of one other (hope it isn't the latter).
Why question it? I can never get an answer on his condition, I'm not qualified to know if he's medically ready to practice or play, nor do I coach so I can't decide in conjunction with medical on what to do. I understand useless speculation is what fans do but why not question why Iowa fans are so concerned about an issue that will never be answered to their satisfcation?
