Teasdale now back?

If, buts , maybes, what abouts , could bes. Did I miss anything? All this wondering accomplishes nothing. Talking about it accomplishes less.

If talking about it "accomplishes less"? Why are you here?? Why are you posting???

Kind of the point of message boards isn't it....to get more talk, info and gossip than what is already out in the media.

Had any cheese pizza lately?

I am from NY(best Pizza in the world). I Wrestled in College in Connecticut. Let me start off by telling you that we probable had a few too many Beers! Anyway, it was the first time out getting a Pizza in CT. I ask for a pie. the guy behind the counter says. "You want cheese on it?"

I am like, WTF??? Is this guy a wise guy or something, Didn't I just order a Pizza??? Everyone was like calm down you can get them without cheese here. I am like how is that a Pizza???

They made me wait outside.

Was that in eastern CT, by any chance?

In RI, they have these absurd things called pizza strips: marinara sauce on flat bread sticks, no cheese. So, in other words, marinara sauce on bread sticks. Not "pizza" strips.

I was at Southern Connecticut State U. in New Haven. Our program was eliminated shortly after I graduated in part due to Title IX.

Yea they have some kinda weird food once you get outside NY, LOL. I honestly to this day I do not understand it. Pizza, Bagels, Deli breakfast sandwiches etc.... Why can't others make them right?

I am dying to have a Caver Cone though! Wanna see what that is all about. On my list.

Okay, so where do you go for the BEST slice in NYC?

Ironbird, we are cool and all, but you should know, there are certainly wrong answers to this question.

You ever in New Brunswick, NJ area? Get a fat sandwich... a fat beach (it used to be called a fat Bit** up until 2003 or so)... cheeseteak, chicken fingers, french fries, mozz stix, LTO in a 12 inch sub roll.

Well let me first say that I live on Long Island and i am not a city guy by any means. Truth be told, I hate the place! that being said, you could argue for another 20 pages or more about where to get the best pizza in NYC.

There is Joe's, Lombardi's and probable 1,000 more! Here where I live, I can drive to 20 different Pizza places in under 10 minutes and get good pizza. I like going to different places to get different slices sometimes.

For example if I want a Crostino, which is basted pan pizza with fresh slice tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, garlic and olive oil. I go to one place. If I want a Brick oven I go to another.

The point is, there is so many great places. If I leave NY, chances are I will not even try a slice of pizza. The only place that I believe I would like to try pizza outside of NY is Chicago. They are suppose to have some very good pizza!

I have had NY pizza and none of it even holds a candle to Chicago pizza.

Are you old enough to remember Greasy Tony's on Easton Street? Extra grease is free. 2 AM on Friday night. The pre-made cheese steaks were stacked up against the glass window. Circa 1977-1979. Had to let the pizza grease drip off before you could take a bite or it would wind up running down your chin.

Prefer thin crust myself.

Had one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten at Serafina in NYC.

Visited IC last year for Gold Cup. Ate at Wig and Pen after some folks on this board recommeded it. Outstanding....right up there with the best.

Getting back on subject. The word I am hearing is Teasdale is not listed as a possible starter for Nebraska. Some are speculating that he can not make 125?

I am wondering if he has weighed in at all? My guess is he has not due to the rules on weight cutting.

In any case it is thought by many that they wanted him in the line up for Ohio St. That match could be a good one especially if they start at 125 and the Buckeyes win 4 out of the first 5!

Would get very interesting, going into the 2nd half. Have to favor Martin at 84. Then of course 197 could be a good one too. Could easily come down to bonus.

157 - Nolf, bonus
165 - Joseph, bonus
174 - Hall
197 - Nickal (you know he'll be looking to manufacture a fall)
285 - Cassar

That's probably sufficient. tOSU could conceivably, maybe get bonus at a couple weights, but Hall could just as easily add a cement job, and Cassar could push for a major. Odds are in favor of PSU winning that bonus battle. Especially if Nickal pins.

Can not disagree with you for the most part. The Buckeyes will have to battle at some weights to keep it close. They will also need just about everything to go their way to win.

I am very interested to see how the match at 197 goes. I have a feeling it maybe a lot closer match then most believe.

I've had many opportunities to have NYC pizza and Chicago pizza, and, in my experiences and opinion, NYC pizza blows Chicago pizza away. I can't stand the deep dish. It's like lasagna on top of too much crust.

I'm a thin crust guy and I get that about deep dish. But that's the beauty of the Wig & Pen flying tomato style. You wouldn't know the place unless you have lived in Iowa City or been to Carver and happened to stop by before or after a meet. Its like half a deep dish and not a ton of crust. And what crust is there is pie like texture.

I am very happy they opened the one in Ankeny. Thin crust in Des Moines, I got to go with Bordenaro's.

There only thing is if Teas can't make 125 why not wrestle in some opens at 133 just to gain the experience? His not touching a mat since last spring is odd.

I think the cut is indeed tough for him but our plan is to burn his shirt at 125 some time before the tOSU dual, but not until he is comfortable at the weight which may take a while.

I think the issue with weight cutting rules is likely keeping him form weighing in for any weight. SO whats the point of him making it in at 132.5 because that's doesn't help the need to get him at 125 because it then put guideline weight loss restrictions in play that wont work for Cael.

This would all be easier to understand if you realize Cael is doing things behind the scenes for Cael. Not the kid.

If it was about the kid and not Cael's need for him at 125 ASAP he would be wrestling 133 in an open like you said.

If the best thing for the kid is to wrestle live like many of you upstanding PSU folks point out then by all means then get the poor kid in at 133 so you can save him from his demons!!!

Boy you PSU guys are almost getting close to questioning Cael! Almost! Things are finally picking up on page 21 of this thread. Get excited!!!!!!!!!!

"Our" plan?

The crust is secondary. For me , it's all about the sauce.

I didn't realize how well tOSzu matches up against PSU in a dual with Heinselman now going.

125-tOSU 3-0 possible bonus
133-tOSU 6-0
141-tOSU 9-0
149-tOSU 12-0
157-tOSU 12-5
165-tOSU 12-9
174-PSU 13-12
184-tOSU 15-13 possible bonus
197-PSU 16-15
285-PSU 19-15

5-5 with bonus going PSUs way, but a 100% Moore can't be fully counted out. Everything would have to go absolutely perfect for them to win(not gonna happen), but I didn't think there was a team this year that could even make them sweat.

Yeah, and the most peculiar aspect of it is that there aren't really any true toss-ups. We're getting a 5-5 split with every weight having a clear favorite or strong lean. As a result, maybe there will be less bickering about the dual than one would normally expect?

Thats not gonna happen

Never say never! If the kid actually ever steps on the mat we could get close. Forget about if something odd/out of the ordinary takes place!

Then of course he could decide to transfer to IOWA and that might make 100 pages:confused:
