Teasdale now back?

I haven't had pizza in Iceland which would possibly require putting a second mortgage on the home but I have had pizza in Albuferia Portugal "old town" which to me is hands down the best I have had and that includes having it in Chicago and NYC
I don't think anyone from out east or PSU should be allowed to vote for the top pizza. After all Pizza never started out east (and definitely not at PSU) until 2011. 2011 is a year that will go down in history. :)

That’s interesting. I lived in Galicia, Spain near the Portuguese border and have never had more bizarre pizza experiences than that.

As long as people are talking pizza, I'll throw in my vote for most under the radar pizza... Casey's Breakfast Pizza. I think the good folks of Iowa have been in on this for a while but you PSU guys should give it a try next time you're in the midwest.

Breakfast pizza? Isn't that, like, the cold stuff that you didn't eat the night before?

I don't think Breakfast pizza is an east coast thing. I have seen many people question what the heck we are talking about. Might just be a Midwest thing.

Def never heard of breakfast pizza. But if you can get your local spot to put vodka sauce instead of tomato sauce on your pizza, it’s a life changer. If you make pizza at home, just use the store bought sauce.

A jersey breakfast slice would be what, pork roll egg and cheese on a slice?

I think you meant to say Taylor Ham egg and cheese on a slice. :D

Pizza on Friday nights is a pretty big thing here on LI, especially with the Italians. Was wondering if it is the same in other parts of the country?

Not sure If I am going to have Pizza tonight? Might be getting Sushi, but if I get pizza I will take a picture and post for all to enjoy, even the F*** St. fans!!!

I heard Cael eats pizza from Sbarro when he goes to NYC. I also heard he hates puppies and babies. The man's a menace.

Now, back to Game of Thrones........should be fun.

Do you really think it's a good idea invoking "vodka" as part of this thread?

Ye of little faith. Each week of action or inaction will spawn a new flurry of messages. I give it at least 1000 posts.

I suspect Chief's "not gonna happen" remark was in reference to the previous poster's "#letthisthreaddiealready" concluding statement.

Well I'm currently in way way east, Dublin so hopefully that's far enough east that it has become west again...

Urban pizza in old town. Great pizza and great scenery. My favorite city I've been to so far.

Here in western PA, we know what breakfast pizza is. I don't care for it but it is somewhat popular here. I'll have to confirm with Mark Hall but I guess we're midwesterners. Lol

Pizza is big for me any night. I could eat it every day. But really around here, Friday nights are for eating fish. Saturdays is for Pizza.

OK, I am officially lost! Is breakfast pizza a joke like I assume it is, or am I missing it and it is a real thing?

Like the breakfast burrito on Bevis and Butthead?

I had a friend I used to play basketball with that was in his early 30's at the time living alone. All he had in his refrigerator was bottles (he didn't like drinking out of a can) of Pepsi (NEVER a Coke or any other soft drink).

I am telling you he had nothing else but Pepsi bottles. Not even a bottle of ketchup, milk, eggs; nothing else.

In his freezer all he had was frozen pizzas. Only pepperoni and cheese; nothing else!

I have lost touch with him over the years and always wondered if he evr grew out of it or had major health issues.

Assuming IronBird is still recovering in a ditch somewhere alongside a desolate road in the wilds of Long Island following a wild night of pizza consumption, I'll step up . . .

Back to the subject. Quotes from Cael at the end of this article from centredaily.com earlier in the week don't exactly scream "burn the shirt". If that ever really was the plan, the ship may be sailing.

An excerpt:
“He’s trying to get back to just wrestle in open tournaments, so I think he’s very close,” Sanderson said. “Just one of those deals where it looks like he might compete and then things kind of don’t work out.

“He’s another guy that I don’t have the answer for that. We have an idea, but I’m not going to share those ideas. It’s a matter of getting him ready, if he’s ready to go, and getting him in some open tournaments and just letting him compete.”

Like I said SLUSHY, I had sushi and some sake but didn't wind up in a ditchy!

kaal has changed his entire stance on Teasdale now it seems. Guessing and hoping for the kid, that it is a weight issue and he can't get to 125 and not other problems.

That being said, the F*** staters are getting nervous! The HAWKS are coming alive and the kitties have to head into Ohio that could be their waterloo!!!

there was or is a guy out here that eats nothing but hot dogs.

Well as expected, there was no Teasdale today for the F*** guys. There were some unconfirmed rumors that he was sited at the concession stand getting Pizza.

Once again I have to say. IOWA with a full healthy line up would have won it this year!

All us HAWK fans will be happy to know that next year IT WILL NOT BE CLOSE!!! IOWA will CRUSH THEM!!!

In other news the 197 weight class is a disgrace! Heavy is not far behind. I would look for Moore to get the win when the kitties wrestle Ohio St.

As for recruiting. IF there is any top prospects at 197/HVY. Throw the kitchen sink at them!!!

That being said I like Cass. Someone PLEASE for the love of GOD. Tell them to have him hit the IRON!!!

OK, I told myself I wasn't going to post on here and extend this thread, but any discussion/argument about pizza, I have to throw my two cents in. First, I've lived my whole life (except for a few months here and there) in Iowa, so I am as neutral as you can be about NY vs. Chicago style pizza, and I have to go with New York hands down.
I've only been to NYC a few times, and only sampled from 7 or 8 places, but my favorite I've had there is Uncle Mario's.
In Iowa, my favorite current places are Pagliai's In Iowa City, Breadeaux butter crust anywhere (found it originally on RAGBRAI one year) and Mabe's (originally from Decorah, but several of them now). There are lots of other good ones I've tried once or twice, but I don't remember the names of most.
Casey's Breakfast Pizza as talked about on here has breakfast ingredients; eggs, sausage, bacon and I'm not sure what else, but it's pretty good.
Breadeaux and Pizza Ranch all over the state also make Dessert Pizza, which I resisted because it just sounds wrong, but is also very good once you try it.
I would try the Senape's Pitza, but I am skeptical about cold pizza. I've had a lot of next day cold pizza, and just not a fan as an adult.
Now, can we PLEEEEASE let this thread die. Nothing to see here folks, move along....

I've said this before, I'll say it again, Sioux City IA is the greatest pizza town in America. Period. Yes, there are great pizza joints all over but I have never lived or traveled to a place with as many incredible, can't go wrong options as there is in SUX. Jerry's, Tony's, Buffalo Alice, El Fredo's, Bob Roe's, The Town House, The Wheel House and the list goes on.
