Look I don't wish to start another firestorm here, but it does seem to me that once he could not make 125, He was sent packing!

This has to start to look bad for F*** St. They have had several Wrestlers in the light weights who committed leave in the last 2 years alone!

Sorry, but, you have no facts to back that up. You have wanted very badly for this to look bad for Penn State from the beginning. Only those in the program know what really took place, and I doubt any of them are going to speak out on it, based on their history. Any of saying we "know" what happened without having direct knowledge is just doing blind speculation, which is unfair to everyone involved.

Some kids don't fit in certain places. Suriano had his reasons to transfer, and so does Teasdale. Considering all of the kids who have succeeded at PSU, AA level backups who decide to stay and the overall success, I'm not overly worried that two kids have transferred.

I agree with you but wouldn’t agree with the overall decision. Would think Pitt would have a lot of distractions. A small place like Campbell under Kolat away from home might be what the doctor ordered.

My opinion (which means nothing) is he has been pushed around ever since the Howard commitment.

He was redshirting and taking time away for health reasons. Very closely after Howard’s commitment, he was coming back and burning his redshirt. I mentioned after that news that it was to get him off the books a year sooner so they didn’t have money tied up at 133 for Teas, RBY, and Howard.

And now that it’s becoming more and more clear he isn’t going to be able to wrestle this year, gets pushed out of PSU...

Or I could be way off base

Instead of a potential washout (I say potential as TnT May have impacted him for the better) we packed 133 with DeSanto & Renteria. Despite his previous commit, I can’t seem him coming to Iowa City now. So, Lock Haven? Arizona State? Grand View? Dresser & Friends? Where will he end up?

I do not see why he would not be free to transfer anywhere he wishes. The way I understand it, he withdrew and it was like he was never there, At least that is what the big Cailzoo and his admires said.

I might add he seemed a little annoyed and the way he put it today is also somewhat strange.

"Gavin is being removed from the roster right now or today" or something to that effect is what Flo quoted him as saying.

Was not, After discussing the situation and looking at all options as what is best for gavin. He has made the decision to leave Penn st. and pursue his education and Wrestling career at another school.

OK, I told myself I wasn't going to post on here and extend this thread, but any discussion/argument about pizza, I have to throw my two cents in. First, I've lived my whole life (except for a few months here and there) in Iowa, so I am as neutral as you can be about NY vs. Chicago style pizza, and I have to go with New York hands down.
I've only been to NYC a few times, and only sampled from 7 or 8 places, but my favorite I've had there is Uncle Mario's.
In Iowa, my favorite current places are Pagliai's In Iowa City, Breadeaux butter crust anywhere (found it originally on RAGBRAI one year) and Mabe's (originally from Decorah, but several of them now). There are lots of other good ones I've tried once or twice, but I don't remember the names of most.
Casey's Breakfast Pizza as talked about on here has breakfast ingredients; eggs, sausage, bacon and I'm not sure what else, but it's pretty good.
Breadeaux and Pizza Ranch all over the state also make Dessert Pizza, which I resisted because it just sounds wrong, but is also very good once you try it.
I would try the Senape's Pitza, but I am skeptical about cold pizza. I've had a lot of next day cold pizza, and just not a fan as an adult.

Yes, I do believe this. Spencer was a positive influence in his life. There are tapes on FLO with them together when they were young boys. I don't think Desanto ever goes 141. IF he does, I doubt he would be very successful. He is a good sized 133 and that really helps him wear guys out. At 141, I do not think he will be as effective.
As for Gavin, he is becoming the Columbo or Michael Jordan of PSU. How many times is he gonna leave?
