Teasdale now back?

Interesting that many people with "inside info" that ran with things back in Dec before it went public with his leaving arent talking now?

I think its even money he doesnt see the mat next year at all before he goes somewhere with national ambitions and that includes perennial top 10 team rutgers.

There were people saying that he was going to struggle in college with the lifestyle back last spring or earlier. I remember some people saying they'd be surprised if he wrestled a match at PSU.

Perennial Top 10, that cracked me up.

I do not believe Gavin has any future plans yet. Gavin first needs to get his life straightened out with the help of family and friends. He apparently is not getting that help from PSU. Drug addiction is a major problem and Gavin needs to get it right. After that happens, then wrestling can continue. Where he ends up will be decided later. I think most schools will give him support to get his life together first before getting him on the mat. Iowa would be one of those schools that would help if he wants that help.

He's already penciled in at 133 for Minny.
I would have responded earlier, but I had to clean the Diet Coke off my keyboard that I spit up when I first read this response from Jammies. Schools like Minny and ISU, or their fans, think they can get back to mediocrity by stocking the lineup with transfers? Both schools have 30% of the starting lineup from that source, currently.

I guess if you don't have confidence that you can develop or recruit...

A team should never have over 20% of their starters be transfers, right Mitch?

A bit different. Iowa brought in Lugo and had him red shirt. These other schools I mentioned have to bring in transfers to plug an immediate hole, but spin that any way you like.

Actually... to be completely accurate with transfers... Minny brought in Webster and ISU brought in Anderson. They just didn't make the starting lineup. So... 40% for each school if they hadn't underestimated the talent level of who they brought in.:p

i might have been born at night... but it wasn't last night.

I hope he does go to mini and wears the maroon and gold Gets his stuff together and competes. Maybe he comes back to bite the lions in the arse. I would love see him beating up on a couple of their lightweight recruits for a few years. The Hawks are not worried About where he goes

Minny recruited Webster in 2016, he went to Augsburg before returning home.

And neither are the Nittany Lions.

One can dream, I suppose.

Ok Slushy guy Yeah they are just like they did when Suriano left. You know it annoys you and Kale that they cannot fill that 25 spot even with all them gifts. Now don’t you have a few other nitwit fans on your board you can pet !

Not to be pompous, which I dislike as much as you guys, but having only 1 weak weight out of 10 does not annoy me the least bit. It didn't bother me when there were 2 weak weights, either.

A team that will coast to another NCAA championship isn’t to worried , I mean it’d be great to have 10 ncaa title winners this year but I’ll have to settle for 3-5 and basically clinching the team title Friday.

Good enough now you can admit it bothered you just a bit and I will believe you a little.

I'll be 100% honest -- I never had any expectation regarding Teasdale at PSU. Something about his decommit from Iowa and an early tweet he put out about him and RBY "getting it done" gave me a lot of pause and put me in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode.

IOWA WRSTLING & PIZZA NY STYLE!

There was a photo, but it disappeared when I posted? For the life of me, I can not figure out how to post a picture!?!?!?!

And don't forget next years 157 starter Renteria. Of course we shouldn't make fun of MitchL who spends more time worrying about other teams rosters than getting acquainted with his own.

Still sore he didn't want to be at Nebraska, I see. And 157???:p

Just because I recognize more about a few teams than their own fan base shouldn't be construed as a negative. Reading the Goph's forum is especially entertaining. Lil bro syndrome. They're already worried about what Bono will do with more resources. Without 2-3 transfers... their projected lineup for next season has so many holes that it looks like a sieve.

Think you could say the same for most every college wrestling program.

You obviously have no clue about addiction and your post is just plain stupid.

I say 2-3 and you wont break any records big guy. A piece of humble pie is coming maybe.
What kind of pie have you and the boys been eating since 2011 if 2-3 champs, no records broken and an 8th title in 9 years calls for a humble pie delivery? Maybe next year pie?

Nearly every program has had multiple transfer starters in the pat couple of seasons and yet Mitchell wants to hang his hat on this showing problems with ISU and Minny. Lol, priceless argument.

Kind of find it funny that you two get so worked up about my comments on the IOWA forum! And since you've both taken a view contrary to mine... please reference which programs have accepted more transfers than ISU and Minnesota recently.

I'll hang up and listen.

PSU had transfer starters at the first 3 weight classes at different points of last season. Ohio State had 2 transfer starters on their runner up team last year. Ok St and Wiscy have both had 3 transfer starters in their lineups this season, 4 for the Cowboys if you count Jacobe Smith. Missouri, Virginia Tech, Iowa all have multiple starters. It is the landscape of d1 wrestling at the moment. But by all means Mitch, keep using this argument as your proof of problems at Minnesota and ISU.
