I think back where this program was just 5 years ago and where we are now, it really is amazing.

I want to thank Adam, Mike, Sapp and Jarrod for many great memories. Hope they can go out of Carver in style tonight.

Our shooting has declined because the boys are pressing too much. I hope they go out and have fun.

Two native sons and Mike might as well be, spent as much time crossing the river to play. To have someone from MSU'S backyard is also amazing. They still have a lot to play for. Hope they get out of their slump.

Go Hawks!

Thank you Seniors for being Hawkeyes! It has been fun watching you grow in talent and character these last few years. We wish you well in your future endeavors.

87 wins and still going. I am good with that, especially since the previous six seasons can't even match that total! A 41-29 record in the Big Ten. As many NCAA Tourney appearances (counting this year, 3) as the previous twelve years! I am very good with that!

An outstanding group of guys on and off the court! Thanks seniors!

Even it they lose tonight, if they play hard they make a statement on their character. They exceeded expectations this year....shooting slump and loss of confidence will do you in, but it has been a great group. Uthoff in particular, I think he has carried this team most of this season...going is tough right now, but he is still the most skilled big man I have ever seen at Iowa. Glad he came back from Wisconsin.

It is not Fran's nature to do this, but I would love for Iowa to be ahead by 15+ points with a minute to go that he could take his seniors out one by one to let the crowd give them the acknowledgement they deserve. Unfortunately, so many of the Iowa crowd leave with 4-6 minutes to go, the players will not get the full recognition they serve because of these marginal fans because it is so important to be the first car out of the parking lot!!

Anyone going to the game tonight, I dare you to ask at least one person where they are going when they leave with 4 minutes to go!!!!

This is a great senior class. Damn good basketball players, but maybe even better representatives of the University of Iowa off the court. We have been very lucky that they became Hawkeyes. Now, let's go kick some Hoser butt!

One thing besides stats, records, etc. is what the initial commitments represented. I'm going to leave Uthoff out of this comment because he first went elsewhere, and Clemmons because he was not as heralded coming in (not to diminish those guys in any way). Gesell and Woodbury were very highly regarded local high school players (top 50 for AW and top 100 for MG) who had lots of college options at a time where Iowa might not have looked overly attractive. Their commitments helped stabilize things to show that Iowa was on its way back up. Some will argue that they haven't quite lived up to their lofty billings, but their commitment to Iowa was huge in the Iowa rebuild. And that being said, we're all thrilled that Uthoff and Clemmons came here as well.

I look at this group as "the" builders of Iowa success. Remember when they committed Iowa was just getting over the "lickliter" years. I mean I think Frans first year what were we 11-19? Something horrible and then these guys came in and took us to the NIT final in their first year. Then back to back to back NCAA births. That's something special right there. These guys are hard nose athletes who have never given up. They paved the way for the underclassmen and hopefully the younger guys learned something from these guys.

Regardless they have made Iowa basketball fun to watch again (except for the past 4 games). They have been fun to watch and I hope BIG things for them from here on out. Hopefully they can right this ship and get on a roll heading into the NCAA.

This, except to Clemmons as well. Without these guys who knows where Iowa would be developmentally. They kickstarted the rebuild and did so in a big damn way.

Well miss the senior class, and wish them well and thank them for all the memories.

Will be ready to turn the page and see what interesting things next year brings as well.

Don't turn the page to next year because it will be like stepping off the cliff. As bad as things seem right now, we will welcome this team next year given what we have to look forward to next year. Jok will be playing 1 on 5 most games.

I am not writing off next year. Guys gotta step up, and Tyler Cook is legit!

I am mostly worried about not having much at the PG position. That will be the toughest hurdle to overcome. Finding a reliable ball handler and distributor.

There are still some chapters to be written. If there was ever a year for a veteran team like Iowa to get hot and run the table, this is it. I have loved these guys since before they signed and I love them more now. They have all been GREAT Hawkeyes. Thank you!!

I'd especially like to thank Mike & Woody for making a commitment to the program when it was down. The positive trajectory you helped put the program can't be understated. Without you two, I don't think Uthoff would have returned - and then Moss & Cook (both will be studs IMO) may not have committed, etc.

Time to turn this thing around and get rolling guys. Especially in the NCAA tourney where I don't think people will have figured out how to coach IA like the B1G coaches have in the second half of the season.
