The CC Show....

I do not consider her early season performance as Olympic caliber.
The numbers and graph I'd posted for you support that.

Someone who compared her turnover #s to Magic Johnson made me want to actually compare them. So I did.
And the numbers do not lie.

Do you even remember why the comparison for turnovers was made (now that you mentioned it a few times)? I posted the tweet below and someone (you!) said, now do turnovers. So, I did. :) Geez. You requested it!

But but but those 6 or 11 games where she had historical stats something something
Just league average if you ask someone who doesn't know.
Wasn't old enough, only had a better a:to ratio than 4 players on the team.

Another huge win for Indiana, 84-80 over Connecticut. The Fever now have at least one win over each of the top four teams in the league. Clark goes 19/5/5 but also had 7 turnovers.

Kind of an odd decision by Connecticut at the end of the game. Clark rebounded a missed shot by Dijonai Carrington with 10 seconds left and a four point lead and the Sun didn’t even bother trying to foul her. They just stood back and let her dribble to the other end of the court and run out the clock.

Great win by the Fever. Putting Hull into the starting lineup was overdue.
Those refs were the worst I’ve seen in a long time. The Fever continue to miss too many easy layups.

I like Hull a lot. She reminds me of Gabbie. Hustles and does a lot of little things. Grabs a lot of loose balls and can hit threes consistently.

Clark, Mitchell, and Hull are a strong three-guard combination. Clark is doing Clark things. Mitchell is second in the league in scoring since the Olympic break. And Hull is 14-for-20 from 3-point range.

Next up for the Fever is their fourth and final game against Chicago. The Sky are currently dealing with COVID-19. They had to cancel practice yesterday because several players didn’t feel well. Chennedy Carter was held out of their game tonight against Washington due to “health and safety protocols.”

The Mystics knocked off the Sky to drop Chicago to 1-5 since the Olympic break. A win by Indiana on Friday would put them in a commanding position for a playoff spot. Chicago is now 3 1/2 games behind Indiana and is in danger of falling below Atlanta for the final spot.

I’m curious about one thing and hopefully someone can shed some light on it. This is the second time the Fever are playing at Chicago and they will once again play at the 9500-seat Wintrust Arena. The last time they played it was pointed out that they couldn’t move the game to the United Center because it was already booked for a concert. But according to UC’s website there is nothing scheduled for Friday.

The Fever and Sky could easily sell out UC. Do the Sky just not want to because they know their attendance ceiling is about 10,000 and it would be mostly Indiana fans filling the arena?

Next year, you build this team around Clark, Mitchell, Boston and Hull. The rest are replaceable.
Then look at add athletic players that can run all game long, with constant cutting, like the Warriors used to do. Should be able to play some fun, high level basketball for years to come.

UNPOSSIBLE

I've been informed many many times that "Covid is over" now.

I would argue that they should do whatever they can to resign Temi.

It’s kind of difficult to gauge her value so far since she has missed so much time. Hopefully now that she’s finally healthy she can contribute down the stretch and into the playoffs.

Tough to play w/ a bad thumb; if they need to sit her to keep her healthier by playoffs time, they should do that. Just bring her back the last 4-5 games to get into game-shape.

Or, renting out a larger facility costs more, and they don't believe the attendance bump is enough to justify the higher costs.
You're giving the Sky FO way too much credit. Those idiots probably didn't even think to do it. We got lucky CC didn't end up in that dumpster fire of an organization

All you've done is support the posts and numbers put forth by the people who complained she got left out.
Which is basically the same thing.
Other than it not being the same thing you are spot on.
I would think that you would tire of being wrong but you keep coming back and doing it.

That’s possible. It’s also possible that they are contractually obligated to play at Wintrust Arena. I know that the first time the Sky and Fever played each other in Chicago, fans circulated a petition online to move the game to UC. Clark even publicly said she wished it was at UC. And the official response from Sky ownership was that they couldn’t because UC was already booked for a concert. That might have just been a cop out.

I also know that several teams decided the attendance bump was worth moving. Of the Fever’s 20 road games, 8 of them were against teams that already play in NBA/NHL arenas. And five of the other 12 games got moved to NBA/NHL arenas to accommodate demand and those games all sold out.

Someone will be along soon to tell you that those attendance jumps were because of game times or the half time show

If I had to guess, the Sky FO and the Bulls FO set a meeting to discuss the terms but both got lost on the way to the meeting location

100% it was a combination of morons. Leases, logistics blah blah blah.. a full stadium makes everyone money which is why everyone is doing it. Unless frickin garth Brooks and Metallica are warming up for TSwift at the UC tomorrow, it makes no sense they aren't playing there. You guys don't realize how awful the sky and reinsdorf are

I see ESPN made up a formula to justify ranking Reece over Clark in their rookie rankings the other day. Absolute masterclass in trolling...
Someone needs to create a highlight video of Reese spastically flinging shots off the backboard to the soundtrack of the 1812 Overture.

It appears that Chennedy Carter is still in health and safety protocols and has been ruled out for tonight’s game.

Reese is setting records

However, she does not have anywhere near the game score efficiency numbers that CC has.
I can plot those, too.

(Poor shooting percentages tend to drag that score down quite a bit; Clark's last game was pretty low due to this - I'm sure the turned ankle is impacting play for her until it feels normal again)

Fever with three winnable games in a row coming up. They could get over .500 in the next week and are currently right on the heels of Phoenix for the 6th playoff position.
