She was in the same freshman class as CC, so this is her fifth year. She took a medical redshirt one year for a torn ACL and she still has the extra COVID season if she decides to use it.
Clark will be featured in an episode of David Letterman’s “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” series on Netflix. The interview apparently was recorded last night at Letterman’s alma mater, Ball State University in Muncie. No air date has been announced.
They released the schedules earlier this week. Indiana opens the season at home against Chicago on Saturday, May 17.
Just trying to invite those that knew little and showed it repeatedly back into this thread?
I think it’s a couple more weeks before single game tickets go on sale. Right now they’re just taking deposits for season tickets.
I may have to catch a game this season. Indy is only about a 2 hour drive for me.
I just checked Stubhub and it looks like tickets range from $164 for upper level corner to $1,187 for lower level behind the basket.
I’ll just watch on ESPN, thanks.

I tapped out after this paragraph:

Why does absolutely every media profile on Clark have to make her a lightning rod for unresolved issues of race, gender, and sexual orientation? Why can’t it ever be that she’s popular because she plays a highly entertaining style of basketball?
If it was about being a straight, white female then there are countless other women’s basketball players who would be selling out arenas.
It is a fantastic article worth finishing. She plays in a league filled with activists and those in the minority in terms of race and sexuality. Her race and sexuality are part of the discussion in terms of her popularity, but I think it is a much smaller factor than the pundits do who bring up again and again, because if she wasn't a killer on the floor, no one would care.
If you follow what Sheryl says very closely there's slim chance she will be routing for Paige..

The racial stuff rubs me the wrong way on some of this stuff. She absolutely has racist piece of shit fans. There are horrible humans out there that use racial epithets that should certainly be called out. There are also a lot of people that hate her because they are racist and that wasn't even mentioned. I don't believe you can combat racism by ignoring racism.

Iowa will retire Caitlin Clark's No. 22 jersey on Feb. 2, when the Hawkeyes face USC at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
