It’s really quite amazing how far this dude has fallen off in such a short time. 6 months ago I was fully in his camp believing despite his “quirks”, he was a net positive with his contributions to EV, renewables, and space exploration. Today, I see him for what he is. He’s a piece of shit human that has shown who he truly is. And, in my opinion, unless Tesla can somehow ”papa john” him, they’re gonna tank. You wanna know how its going for Tesla? They are completely pulling out of the home solar space. We’re getting a ton of sales in the last couple weeks because of Tesla customers that got cancelled on because they’re shutting it down. All they got now is the power wall, which they will only sell through their website and the customer has to find someone to install it. I know, because I get daily emails from Tesla looking for contractors to install their shit. It’s a fvcking shitshow.

I will say it is hard to believe Musk does not have a high level of security that is top-notch and would not be caught in a blocked car situation that would allow some psycho to jump on the car.

It turns out that Elon doesn't really have any guiding principles over his own current ego. He was likely a pos when he was supporting Democrats, he just hadn't gone public yet. For some reason he's decided to advertise it and tank every other business he owns in the process.
He is simply putting out what he has received from the fringe Left in droves. A vicious orgy of hate ever since he proposed buying Twitter and upset the gravy train of left wing narrative shaping. I truly wish he could and would handle it better but alas he is only human.

He had no interest in Twitter. He was probably high when he tweeted he was going to make an offer. He tried every way possible to back out of the deal but was bullied into closing. It pissed him off so he retaliated.

What about his responsibility to his employees and to a lesser extent, shareholders? And to a base that helped make Tesla so popular. Elon is so tone-deaf, it is incredible.
The primary criticism of Musk is that he's impetuous, has a major ego that is willing to harm others to deflect criticism from himself, and the money to make all of that into a dangerous weapon that can attack others without truly thinking through the consequences.
If I make a bad or rash decision the worst thing I'm really capable of is harming myself or hurting an individuals feelings. If I make a rash decision maybe I buy a car I shouldn't have. When Musk makes rash decisions he violates FCC policy, he makes offers to buy Twitter which are now legally binding because he was mad over a twitter moderation policy, he fires 100,000 people and takes one of the largest social networks in the world and works to make it more dangerous than it was before; oh and he might get former execs murdered by accusing them, without proof, of being a pedophile.

In less than one year his reputation has gone from being genius futurist and charitable to an idiot who is unable to control his own impulses and who may just burn down everything he's in contact with as a result of. Nevermind that he might also be a Russian asset.
That kid is going to have so much lunch money stolen from him in school throughout his life.
