The line last year was the walking wounded. All across the line they had guys out and we found out Richman has a broken leg and played on it.
This OL is moving guys...give them credit. They weren't as bad as they looked last year because the scheme and the skill talent made their job twice as hard.
The Tim Lester hire is looking better & better....just hope we can keep him around....
We have heard how good the o line is. Now we've seen it. Top rushing unit in the Big. Top ten nationally.
And they will basically all hurt last year and missed games. Richman had a broken leg.
Looks like old man Ferentz knows his shit. I keep hearing how the game has passed him by. 10-2 last season with the worst QB/

You suppose they have clowns evaluating the line play for this award?
What I saw happen Friday night was an OL that was getting overloaded by pressure that Sully was not reading and or Lester was not adjusting to. And UCLA to their credit pounded the piss out of Sully when he did try running and when they brought pressure.
Sure and they were the more physical team. That is the head scratcher. I just thought UCLA was totally selling out to stop KJ, which they did and that they hammered the crap out of Sully and didn't give him time to make better decisions. We needed quick dumps and misdirection stuff. We only really ever bring 4 guys and they just were not getting pressure and their run game gashed us.
I thought from comments on this forum that the OLine could at least run block some now.
I knew pass blocking didn't really exist.
Didn't anticipate Dline issues.
Obviously UCLA was much better than their record indicated.
Bingo. This is a really good OL. They are just getting overloaded at times with defenses bringing an extra guy and the play call or QB doesn't match or execute.
I want Dunker to stay another year dang it, but he will get drafted pretty high as a guard in the NFL.
