I guess when you spend the entire day with zero urgency on offense, you can’t flip the switch. Once a ‘74 Dodge pickup stuck in mud, always a ‘74 Dodge pickup stick in mud.
Pathetic.
Pathetic.
I get your point, but I would take Brad Banks or Drew Tate in a hurry-up situation.I guess when you spend the entire day with zero urgency on offense, you can’t flip the switch. Once a ‘74 Dodge pickup stuck in mud, always a ‘74 Dodge pickup stick in mud.

Playing not to lose, is planning to lose. The script yesterday was the same script from many games. Shit play calling and poor situational awareness.I get your point, but I would take Brad Banks or Drew Tate in a hurry-up situation.
The problem is Captain Clueless, obviously. When I read that Iowa was at the Missouri 40 yard line with 3rd and 2 and ended up punting on 4th and 2, it was yet another sad reminder that Kirk is always going to play not to lose. And that is just not how the game is played today.
Exactly.Playing not to lose, is planning to lose. The script yesterday was the same script from many games. Shit play calling and poor situational awareness.
First half was sure entertaining. Then we get a lead and we sit on it and expect the defense to hold on. I remember the Music City game against Kentucky that we lost. Exact same situation. We had the the ball and all we needed was a first down. Got 7 yards on first down and ended up punting. Kentucky (Robison) made a play and won the game.Exactly.
The problem is it won’t change until Kirk is gone.
I mean, at this point, even if Iowa took a hit record-wise, so what? The brand of football Kirk provides is stale and boring. What talented player with options is going to sign up to play football scared? It’s ridiculous.
