Just watched one of her Hudl clips and what an athlete the Hawks are getting. Good ball handler, shoots the 3 ball, but it was her ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim finishing with either hand that caught my eye. Maybe one of/possibly the best athletes Bluder has recruited.

Looks like Deja Church was in town this weekend for a visit to U of I. She references being able to watch Tania play on her twitter feed and commented it was a good weekend.

Oakhawk, What a great weekend for a visit with everything going on. I saw somewhere she is up to over 25 offers. Do you have a sense what our chances are with her? Are we looking at any posts in 2017?

Hawks went 6 for 6 on the weekend! Iowa had an in-home earlier with Deja and she visited. Knows Tania and Alexis. The Hawks have a shot. I couldn't put a percentage on it.
Iowa has an offer out to 6-3 Alisia Smith , another from Michigan. I think they are pretty happy with Meagan and Chase, but if no post in 2107 it will be a must for 2018.

Oakhawk, assuming Tyasha goes elsewhere (leaving Iowa with two more scholarships for 2017), do you think that Iowa would accept only one of the two big girls (Myah or Alisia but not both) and reserve the other scholarship for one of the guards (Deja, Destiny, Aly...)?

A few notes...Annawan is just East on I-80 from the Quad cities. Jayde'som played at Bradley, and is one of their top all-time scorers. Her eldest sister is at Southern Illinois, the sister who is a HS senior is going to Illinois State. Jayde was in Iowa City this past weekend.

Aly Reiff, 5-11 G, Whitko HS (IN-2017)/BC United, has offers from Ball State, Belmont, FAU, Xavier; serious interest from Iowa and EMU.
Aly is averaging 21.4 PPG for Whitko (6-1), connecting on 17 of 30 triples; also, 6.0 assists, 5.6 boards, and 5.3 steals per game.
