The next 2-3 weeks

1. Name the OC
2. Let said OC take a couple days to watch film and evaluate the QB position. Basically let the OC do everything in his power to make sure D.Hill is #3 or lower.
3. Attack, develop, upgrade the OL in any way shape or form. Do whatever it takes.
Can Doyle come back? And if I read your comment right, congrats on #87's trajectory, he and Luke will make an excellent TE combo next fall.

No strawmanning. You said players are going to Nebraska because in spite of the shitty offense last year, they are paying the money. Nebraska and their staff haven't been the poster child for laughably bad offensive football the last 3 years. Iowa has.
Nebraska's points per game rankings the last 3 years...

Cade will be the starter next year with Lainez being the backup. Hill might as well transfer if he can find a team who would take him.
I don't disagree. Hill might not have any better options than his former OC. Maybe he'll follow Brian somewhere. Hill won a lot of games for him.

Brand new staff. Nobody is holding them accountable for the last 3 years. Nor was the local and national media pointing at their program as the poster child for nepotism in sports.
A lot of factors in play here. The new staff went backwards and here is the bigger question.

If Iowa had the same record as Nebraska the last three years do you think the national media would mention the nepotism at Iowa more than an off hand comment? The national media pointed at Iowa because they won in spite of the putrid offense. If they were 5-7 it would be mentioned by the game announcers at the 11 AM game that is on ESPN the Ocho, viewership of 27, 531 carrying over from the dodgeball tournament. Otherwise it wouldn't make a ripple.
