*****The Official Iowa vs Wisconsin Game Thread*****

Per the narrative, if we lose it's Kirks fault and if we win it's in spite of Kirk.
27-13
In fact, we'll give beth the credit if we win....right?
Back in Black!
No way! Head coaches are critiqued based on the outcome of games

That's right; when you were on ANOTHER one week ban for your crazy ass behavior, another poster thought you were posting under one of your alt accounts; he said he'd bet his house that wilson reborn was you.

You have been banned 3 times recently for your sad, pathetic behavior; that's gotta be a record.
Enough, not on the football board please

Heading to Iowa City in a little while. I see Wisconsin controlling the game with a solid run game and converting third downs throwing at whoever is on the field at RCB. Hope I'm wrong. (Northwestern's lack of focus on attacking Iowa's RCB last week was coaching malpractice after the Michigan State game.)
I'm guessing you get rained on and have a miserable Saturday.......but I hope I'm wrong!!!!!!

See how that works? Stop. Tell all the fellow social media posters as well. Thanks in advance! :D

I despise the shitty cheeseheads, but the Hawks will be lucky to win this one.

He's been banned numerous times. Projection always. Unhinged. And agreed not worthy of engagement.

You lie so much it's not even funny anymore.

The truth? You've been banned 3 times recently for your behavior. One night, based on your crazy ass posts, there was concern by others that you were going to do something really stupid to yourself.

So, it's beyond ironic that you, of all people, would say that anyone else is unhinged or is projecting.

You're pathetic. You should do everyone a favor & take your clown show back to the Off Topic board; the echo chamber misses you over there.

How the hell did we get the primetime game and Ohio Stat-Penn State are playing early?
Depending on the week each network basically gets "dibs". It's based off how much each network paid up to the BigTen.

FOX owns the 11:00 Kickoff
CBS owns the 2:30 Kickoff
NBC owns the Night Kickoff

So for instance this week Fox probably had 1st choice and they weren't letting OSU vs PSU get past them. If NBC had first choice this week we'd be watching this game on NBC during a Beaver Stadium Whiteout tonight. I think Fox paid the most which kind of sucks because now these big matchups won't be at night as much.

Hope this helps.

The record is held by the Nebby troll. I swear he's spawned 100 user handles at least.

Injury Updates:

Luke Lachey (quad) is expected to be OUT
against the Badgers but could return next Friday at UCLA. It's the quad injury Lachey suffered against Northwestern that's continuing to linger.

As a result, Zach Ortwerth will start at tight end. Johnny Pascuzzi, Hayden Large and Andrew Lentsch could provide depth.

Iowa's QB depth continues to thin:
* Cade McNamara OUT with a concussion

* Marco Lainez OUT with a broken left thumb (happened in practice Monday). Lainez has already had surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. A bowl-game return is possible.

* Jackson Stratton is the official backup to Brendan Sullivan tonight.
