Sure...just pointing out it's not all Republicans and making this a R/D football isn't good for Ukraine. Seems to be what the media and D's are doing.Again, please tell me you understand that it is the two number 1 and 2 Republican 2024 POTUS nominee front runners, Trump and DeSantis, making this a political football.
Reread what you quoted and are responding to. The two leading Republicans are making this political. The media is reporting what they have said. Dems in this thread have been saying that those two are making this political.Sure...just pointing out it's not all Republicans and making this a R/D football isn't good for Ukraine. Call out that faction of the party for sure...

Are the Democrats on a national level not supposed to talk about how the two leading candidates for president from the Republican Party are making Ukraine and their funding political?
I feel like I have been seeing a variation of this tweet for 55 weeks now yet no new fighter jets have shown up from any other country.
So close to a nice round 3500 tanks. At Russia tank build rate of 20 per month it will only take 14.5 years to replace the losses.
Seems like a deliberate slow roll at this point. No idea why…I feel like I have been seeing a variation of this tweet for 55 weeks now yet no new fighter jets have shown up from any other country.
Are there really 400,000 mercenary soldiers out there to be hired?
Yeah, I want to sign up and join a team that gets 1,000 soldiers killed daily, doesn’t pay them, forces them to re-enlist, sends them on suicide missions (without ammo), and then leaves their dead bodies to rot in the Ukrainian fields where they were killed.
They probably offer free vodka, Vodka, but that surely would be just another empty lie. …..Russian bastards.Yeah, I want to sign up and join a team that gets 1,000 soldiers killed daily, doesn’t pay them, forces them to re-enlist, sends them on suicide missions (without ammonia), and then leaves their dead bodies to rot in the Ukrainian fields where they were killed.
This has to be a joke. They can’t entice prisoners with a life sentence to join…How are they going to get 400K to enlist freely?
Anyway, making this a R v D political football is the last thing Ukraine needs
Plenty R's called it out...stopThen maybe the R's need to figure out that "the calls are coming from inside the house" and start being more vocal in their opposition to the Trump/Desantis narratives.
When it's the Dems who need to call that out, you get your "political football" problem. Quit expecting them to carry the water here; if R's cannot purge the cancer from within their own part, quit voting for any of them. When they lose badly enough, they will re-make their party.
They will keep trolling the poorest areas of Russia where ethnic minorities, and the poorest of the poor will be receptive to any offer to make some money, and leave their dismal lives living in the mud behind. And, these people don't know how badly things are going in Ukraine. They might have an inkling, but they aren't getting the daily KIA/WIA numbers, or seeing the pictures of corpses bloating in the streets of Bakhmut.Yeah, I want to sign up and join a team that gets 1,000 soldiers killed daily, doesn’t pay them, forces them to re-enlist, sends them on suicide missions (without ammonia), and then leaves their dead bodies to rot in the Ukrainian fields where they were killed.

Slovakia is in a transition period after the ruling coalition fell out of favor and lost a no confidence vote. From what I have read their law says only a legitimate, ruling government can authorize weapons transfers.Seems like a deliberate slow roll at this point. No idea why…
Well, they don't dismiss the hemorrhaging of cash. They do allude to it. There is some disagreement if Russia will really hit the skids when it comes to cash in late 2023, or in 2024. Either way, it's coming. The AP story fails to mention that Russia ran a $24 billion deficit in January. They’ve paid for the war and accompanying economic subsidies with foreign currency reserves. They can’t do that forever.
Plenty R's called it out...stop

These Republicans have pushed back against DeSantis’s Ukraine comments
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) this week waded into the debate over U.S. involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine, saying further American entanglement in the war is not in the country’s “v…thehill.com
Just to be clear, "our armed forces" is not the POTUS, the SoD or the Joint Chiefs. Our armed forces are not our policy. Our armed forces are supported by nearly everyone when they are in action. Which they are not at this point.Seems like a miscalculation by DeSantis and Trump. The Republican base has traditionally been very supportive of the Armed Forces and supporting Ukraine is exactly the strategy the Armed Forces want at the moment.

In that other tweet, it appeared to me that the plane with the camera passed the drone, going in the same direction but faster. That's why it looked like it was going backwards.CBS at least has the drone flying the correct way and not backwards unlike the popular tweet.
