This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I say this somewhat seriously, if you look at the upper/right of the screen at about the 8 or 9 sec mark, there is something flying across. I'm pretty sure that's the TC (tank commander). The shape is right. Unless there's a hatch cover or (as we call it) sponson cover roughly that shape.

I thought maybe a piece of the skirt, the armor covering the track, road wheels and idler arms. But I don't think the Russian tanks have that large of panels on the skirt. Plus, unless it was a mine just inside thw track on that side, it wouldn't fly off in that direction.
Something goes flying to the left, too.

When I was contemplating the possible counterattack near Kiev, I wondered if that infamous traffic jam would help to screw up the Russians retreating, or at least their ability to maneuver.
FWIW in Manstein's book Lost Victories, he promoted letting the Russians exhaust themselves in attacks and then counter attacking. The idea was for the Germans to then withdraw to new defensive positions and defend again until the Russians were bled dry. (Simplified version.) I am hoping that the Russians up there are spent.

What damage would 2 large molotov cocktails do when thrown onto Russian tanks??

Meh. If it got to the right places might burn something like wiring, won't destroy it I wouldn't think. US tanks have pretty good fire suppression systems in the driver's compartment, the turret and the engine compartment. Not sure what Russians have, though.

A truck however, could be taken out with one.

This.

I totally agree. They have been trying to divide Western nations for years now.

Wasn't Brexit along those same lines?
Well, if it was, it didn't work. Brexit has not visibly diminished the UK/EU cooperation in the Ukraine matter at all.

There was an interesting Twitter thread posted here yesterday that surmised the Ukrainians purposely didn’t destroy that column because having it sit their paralyzed was a bigger strategic advantage. Interesting theory.

There was no need to destroy it. It was not an immediate threat.

Yep. Another factor I keep reading from military experts is the bogging them down, running out of supplies food and sleep and constant harassment has turned them into the walking dead. I think the large counter offensive you see now is due to the fact they are facing guys completely whipped, unable to fight or think clearly. I swear it’s closing in on a mass surrender in North and East. And then the ****ers in the south Ukraine at Mariupol and Odessa who seem to be extra barbaric are toast.

Here’s an interesting thought. What if a NATO force made up solely of non-nuclear, European militaries (Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Luxembourg, Slovakia and Slovenia) intervened?

Then it would not be an escalation from the Western nuclear powers but rather Europeans cleaning up their own backyard conventionally.

Maybe the gunner?
Morbid, but maybe. Both objects appeared to have arms and legs.
Also, it looks like there was a puff from the tank just before impact, along the axis that the missile came from. The crew might have seen the crew as they fired on them, and had a chance to send some machine gun fire at them.

That's not interesting, that is NATO intervening.

You can definitely see arms / legs on the SOB on the right at 10 seconds. Hope he was alive to question his decision making as he flew 1/4 mile

Man, these poor souls are just along for a hell of a ride. Probably dead before becoming airborne.
A few months ago there was a thread on a high speed chase in LA where the rider of a motorcycle trying to evade the cops went airborne. He flew a ways and bounced a few times, but he never felt a thing. I doubt those guys did either.

In the end your appeal is ruled on by Putin.
Will he see it the way you hope? Do what you hope in response?
