One of the things that has been brought up is that the withdrawal from Luhansk shortened Ukraine's defensive lines....it shortened Russia's as well. Just think it puts this closer to a stalemate period.

Ukraine needs a static situation so they can reconstitute...regroup and build up their stockpiles of weapons/ammunition to go over to the offensive. Unfortunately that takes time.

Just hope the "west" has the patience to see this through. Ukraine can turn things around but they need time. Unfortunately the major "shift" might not occur till next spring.
