Ukraine is in a tough position. They have a lot of soviet era equipment while at the same time integrating a bunch of different western weapons systems. Logistics and maintenance have to be a serious bitch....The problem seems to be that those countries that have not yet give Soviet era weapons are afraid of doing so and angering Russia.
For the life of me I can't understand why my district keeps voting for this asshat. He hasn't delivered a single project to our district. The only thing he does is "Own the libs". There have been several very conservative, ex-military Republicans who would have actually had the ability to lead and get things done (While still being Republican) who have run against him and he slaughters them everytime.
That's seriously F'd up.Russian Army Turns Ukraine’s Largest Nuclear Plant Into a Military Base
The new infusion of weaponry effectively shields the Zaporizhzhia station from a counterattack by Ukrainian forces, and amounts to something the carefully regulated atomic-energy industry has never seen before: the slow-motion transformation of a nuclear power station into a military garrison.www.wsj.com
Senate is safe...voted 100-0 on Ukraine lend lease.
Senate is not "safe".Senate is safe...voted 100-0 on Ukraine lend lease.
Senate is safe...the votes reflect that as far as support for Ukraine goes...Senate is not "safe".
You'll continue to deny this right up until they reverse course, and then claim "we could never have possibly predicted this could happen".
If you think Moscow Mitch will "stay the course" vs deal with a recession and energy price spikes, I've got a Rusal plant in Kentucky to sell you.....Senate is safe...the votes reflect that as far as support for Ukraine goes...
I think this is why my Dad harbored such hard feelings for the Germans until the day he died.If true, Germany sucks even more than I thought.
I believe Joe's Place is correct. Once Senate Republicans know House support belongs to Republicans (if the midterms go as expected), you'll see a dwindling of support. Their sabotaging of the WH increases the moment the GOP controls the House.Senate is safe...the votes reflect that as far as support for Ukraine goes...
100-0
The House is what needs to be worried about.
Maybe so....I believe Joe's Place is correct. Once Senate Republicans know House support belongs to Republicans (if the midterms go as expected), you'll see a dwindling of support. Their sabotaging of the WH increases the moment the GOP controls the House.
Ukraine MUST see major gains before that occurs.
