This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Two term massively popular president.

History books will look at his presidency as a breath of fresh air surrounded by shitty administrations.

Deal with it.
Thanks for hijacking a thread guys - but being "massively popular" is not what a POTUS should be judged on

Imma guess that MUCH of the reason for abandoned stuff isn't all due to just "freaking out and running away", but rather all the disruption to Russian logistics - tanks & artillery are worthless when they run out of shells or bullets or fuel.

And when your command cannot tell you when new ammo and fuel is on the way, you abandon your worthless baggage and move in the direction away from the people who DO have ammunition, fuel and operational tanks.

Little chatter they may be launching a third front. I think there is growing consensus that now is the time to inflict as much damage and have them leave or lose more equipment. With the amount they are leaving behind coupled with how much already is lost, Russia may end up losing 2/3 of its active in service equipment that is already outdated and not up to fighting NATO. Russia has basically been eliminated as a world super power. All they have is an unknown amount of functioning Nukes.
I read that there may be another brigade ready to be activated that may attack between the two other fronts, from somewhere north of Mariupol. Could just be a rumor or a feint though.

Joe Biden = "Super-genius"???

His ability to activate our state department (a state department that had been thoroughly gutted and depleted by the previous administration I might add) and swiftly enact US-Euro relationships, strategy, and coordination of response to Russias illegal and criminal invasion of a sovereign nation may go down the most impressive action of his entire administration. It really has been incredibly impressive.

If for nothing else, the free world owes Joe Biden this debt of gratitude.

Either that, or he has the ability and willingness to attract and retain extremely competent secretaries and commanders/chiefs of staff, and to let them do their jobs with a coherent mission in our national interest.

Agreed. Either way, he is the head honcho. This is why I voted for Biden and not the manchild. Competent leadership.

No he doesn’t have any green light. Only in your deluded mind. Nuke attack in Ukraine, the fallout blows into Russia and kills his own people. Here’s a dollar, go buy a clue.
Maybe he picks the spot farthest away, like Lviv, as a demonstration of what could come.
It’s not quite like the world ends when a nuke is popped. US and USSR nuked themselves many times.

I think this question was posed several pages ago, but do we assist with detention of POWs? Ship them to Poland or Germany for safekeeping to free up Ukrainians to fight and not be prison guards?
I think there is zero chance of that.
Plenty of space in western Ukraine to detain POWs.

I have little doubt that nuking Lviv triggers Article 5. Poland is right there.

Even the real Nazis didn't f*ck with Habsburg cities.

From April-UK not backing down to Russian threats.

"Nato forces “outnumber and outgun” Russia, the UK Defence Secretary said today after Vladimir Putin issued his latest chilling nuclear hint.

Ben Wallace warned the crews of Britain’s nuclear weapon-armed submarines were “deep underwater, hiding, waiting, in case Britain needs to be protected”.

Russia’s President yesterday warned he would mount a “lightning-fast” retaliation if the west intervened in Ukraine, warning “we have all the tools” and “we will use them if necessary”.

But Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said “I don’t think [Putin] will” use nuclear weapons."
