Have you wondered at all why House Republicans couldn't find any of this waste the last 3 years when they've held the majority on all the committees...and yet somehow Musk and a bunch of inexperienced 20year old guys could find it that easily?
You are entitled to not like how our money is being spent and call for change. The problem I have is this administration acting like this spending was done without congressional approval and hidden from the public. It has/is public information that was available to all of us if we just look.

Weird that the guys complaining about all the stuff that Musk has found the past 3 weeks were apparently unable to find the same stuff over a couple of years.
We've seen republicans complain about waste, corruption, etc for god knows how long. They vote on the freaking budget every single year, sit on committees that approve the various stuff that goes in there. Are they stupid or just plain dumb that they were completely unaware of what the various agencies did with their funding?
We must enact line item veto to stop such waste of our money, did your fellow liberals know about this waste?
They use powerful, quick computers that can go through millions of pieces of data in a short amount of time and using newer, more sophisticated software or algorithms that can analyze data in ways the current USA government has zero ability to do.
You seem to have zero idea what the group of super smart guys are doing. They are using software, not using pencils to look at a transaction in a book.
Who gets to determine what is waste and what isn't? that there's spending we could/should cut I won't deny. But USAID is an organization that has done ALOT of good around the world, and generates much-needed goodwill for us as well.

No, I do not think one person in USA government could do what this group of guys did. People with that ability would not be working for the government.
As a tax lawyer, I have no idea that raw data on a page doesn’t tell me everything. Thanks for making me feel stupid. I guess I will just walk to the beach with my family and cry all afternoon.
