And he is losing BIG. As I predicted, people have grown tired of the freak show. He's toast.

The electorate are still stupid as a whole, but at least they are beginning to wise up in regards to Trump.

As I said a day or two ago, this is not a surprise. These are closed caucuses. Trump does not and has not competed well in the caucus states. If Trump doesn't win open primaries in Mississippi and Michigan on Tuesday, then that is where you can start to say there is a crack in the campaign foundation.

Now he's having supporters raise their right hand and swear to support him at rallies. That's some scary stuff, just keeps inviting the fascist comparisons.

LOL the guy can't win....he asks supporters at a rally to raise their hands to vote for him. You are really grasping at straws.

Trump is going to win Louisiana and Kentucky. Cruz is just winning the Santorum/Huckabee states. Trump will win Michigan and have the wind at his back again. As a Dem, I would much rather see Cruz win but it ain't gonna happen. If I'm Trump, I get sick next Thursday and skip the debate.

I pray every day (as a Democrat) for a Ted Cruz nomination. Cruz is the part of the GOP that Lindsay Graham referred to last week ("bat-shit crazy). Bernie would roll Cruz in a General Election.

There is another debate...JFC.

Not even close to being true. Cruz would curb stomp both dem candidates.

The only thing keeping Trump in the lead is Rubio & Kasich's presence in the race.

This election would be an absolute laugher for the democrats if they would nominate anyone except Hillary. Can you imagine the carnage of Cruz/Trump vs. Obama, or even Kerry/Gore. I could see any of those three candidates getting 55% in the general against the front running duo the Republicans are putting out there.

On the other hand, Romney or McCain would be curb stomping Hillary. Wouldn't even be a contest. This election is setting up to be a race to the bottom.

Interesting perspective, given that BHO was one of the weakest dem candidates since JC. He essentially backed into the presidency in 08 because McCain ran a historically bad campaign; the same thing happened in '12 as Romney choked when some 54 million evangelicals stayed home (obviously a stupid move on their parts).

Obama is very charismatic. He wasn't a "weak" candidate. Good lord, he defeated Hillary Clinton for crissakes.

Carter last ran in 80. So that means that Obama was weaker than Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, and Kerry. I might give you Clinton and Gore, but that's it. I would really like to see a link to that 54 million number because that is bs.

My bad....I meant 4 million (keys are a little undersized). Still way more than enough to have changed the outcome of that election. And when you factor in that BHO lost millions of votes from '08 to '12, well. ..he was a hanging curveball if there ever was one. Just like HRC this year. If Republicans lose this one, it will be self-inflicted.

My point was that Romney destroys Hillary/Bernie this year. Obama destroys the Republican nominee if he were allowed to run. Weak crop this year. You can look at past elections and say coulda shoulda all you want. If turnouts for 2012 were similar to 2008, Obama beats Romney by more, not less.

cruhawk...that is BS! I will give you one or the other, but NOT both! The GOP has no one to offer any better than Obama...that is the truth.
The GOP has no ideas! That is also the truth.
Obama might have won by default but thru no "default" of his own. The gfact of the matter is that today's GOP has absolutely nothing to offer to "we the people" other than fear and hate mongering.

Interesting thing to say about a president who will go down in history as one of the worst in modern times.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. ...even if it's wrong.

I'm kind of sitting back watching this, I used to cheer for trump but I'm getting suspicious. We shall see. If trump take ohio and florida both, I think it will be the end for everyone R except him. I'm just wondering if he got bought out by the Clinton folks years ago, and his job is to take a dive and let hills in. sort of like how he backed down on the birth certificate deal. I'm starting to wonder

we could have a constitutional crisis leading to barak being prez again, or jeb: hills in jail, trump flames out, ted and rubes non citizens. yep, could be jeb with perry as vp or Romney jumps in

That is why it is so important he doesn't get the necessary number of delegates to sew up the nomination. Kasich is going to win Ohio. Rubio should win Puerto Rico easily today. There are a lot of PR's in Florida. I fully expect him to close the gap on Trump there this week, and win on the 15th by about 5 percentage points.

This will set up a Cruz/Rubio or Cruz/Kasich ticket in November. Depending on how the rest of the primaries break, I wouldn't rule out a Rubio/Romney ticket should we have a brokered convention. This would be a dream scenario for the Establishment. And will anger millions of Americans.
